Three Cheers

"Thank you."

I was arm in arm with Frank's best man, Jon. It wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be; he was sweet and Gerard didn't seem to care. Gerard was behind me with one of Fran's friends. I waved at him, causing him to roll his eyes playfully. I blew him a kiss and watched him pretend to catch it and grin.

I looked back once we reached the altar to see Busy and Thora coming down the isle; B was tossing her flowers delicately and Thora grabbed a handful and tossed them around. It was almost too cute; it was funny too. As soon as they got to the altar, Thora ran over to me, hiding behind me; "This is itchy!" she cried; everyone laughed.

I picked her up, letting her rest her head on my shoulder. I kissed the top of her head, "It's almost over, Auntie Franny will be coming soon."

I looked to see Frank coming down the isle, looking nervous in his tux. I smiled at him, he smiled back; I could see his hands shaking. He stood beside Jon, along with Gerard and Ray.

It took a minute before the music started. We all looked towards the end of the isle, waiting for Frances. Once she appeared, it was like you could hear a pin drop over the soft music; "She looks pretty." Thora whispered to me.

Everyone awed at Frances as she walked down the isle by herself. She looked nervous, but she still smiled, years were threatening. I too was on the verge of tearing up. I held my breath as her steps neared the altar; Frank was grinning happily, he was gonna cry. I hugged Thora and tried not to cry; it was all so emotional.

Frances turned to me and handed me her bouquet to hold. She bit her lip and turned back to Frank; both exhaled deeply. The priest began to recite a bible verse, Thora couldn't stop watching with interest. I knew she'd like it; even if getting her here was like pulling teeth. Busy too watched intently; she stood in front of Gerard.

It was such a beautiful moment that was hard to keep the tears at bay.

I changed Thora from her dress by the time we got to the reception. She and Busy sat down and watched Frank and Frances cut their cake. Thora stood up and cheered; "Cake! Cake! Cake!"

"Hold your horses, Baby Bear." Gerard pulled her onto his lap.

"Horses? Where?" she asked.

Gerard just kissed her cheek, "No horses, Baby Bear."

Thora and Busy hugged Frank and Frances before they settled down and got cake. Gerard fed Thora while I helped Busy; I didn't want her to get her dress dirty, and she wouldn't change. When they finished, Frank pulled them out to the floor to dance with him; Gerard went with them, to make sure Thora wouldn't spin around and get dizzy.

"Hey," Fran came over, wearing a different dress, "Why aren't you dancing?"

I shrugged as she sat beside me, "I like watching them act weird."

Fran chuckled, "They're cute."

"So, how do you feel now that you're Mrs. Frank Iero?"

She smiled, "I love it. Frank's family is amazing."

"They've welcomed you with open arms?"

"Yeah, the whole lot of them. His grandfather can't wait until I have the baby."

"That's great."

"It's like I got a brand new family, October."

I gave her a hug, "I'm very happy for you."

"Thank you."

I let her go, "You're welcome."

Fran and I watched the girls twirl around Frank, while Gerard watched uncomfortably. He isn't much of a dancer in public; Fran nudged me, "Lets go dance with them."

I chuckled, "Why not?"

She and I got up and entered the dance floor; I took Gerard's hand, pulling him close to me. He smiled, "Slow dance to a Alice Cooper song?"

"Of course." I said with a laugh.

He wrapped his arms around my middle, "I'm not a great dancer."

I kissed his lips, "Neither am I. Our girls got the moves."

He looked over at Busy and Thora dancing wildly with Frank and Frances, "You got that right."

I rubbed his back smoothly, "This was nice, right?"

"Yeah, but I was kinda jealous seeing you arm in arm with Jon."

I rolled my eyes, "Oh really?"

"Yep. I was raging inside. I couldn't ruin Frank's big day, though."

I laughed and kissed him again, "Oh, my big burly man!" I swooned obnoxiously.

Gerard smiled, "It's only because I love you."

"Aw, Gerard Way." I kissed his cheek, "I love you, too."

After the wedding reception, Gerard drove us home. The girls were already asleep; he carried both of them in easily, surprisingly. I shut the door behind him, following him to their rooms. He laid Busy down, I tucked her in and we did the same with Thora.

"Fuck, I'm tired." He muttered as we entered our bedroom.

"Me too." I kicked my heels off, "Unzip me, Gee."

He obliged, "You looked amazing tonight." he added.

"Oh yeah? Unlike everyday?"I joked with him as I slipped the dress off.

He smirked, "I mean, tonight you looked especially amazing."

"Thank you." I told him as I went to the closet.

"I was thinking about our own wedding." He murmured.

"What about it?" I asked as I hung the dress up and then went to the dresser.

"I want a wedding like theirs."

I slipped on a shirt, "I don't want to sound ungrateful or bitchy, but who'd we invite?"

"Your family and my friends."

"We could have Thora wear shorts." I jested.

He shook his head, "I'm being for real, October. I loved that; I'd love to see you in some expensive dress walking down the isle to me."

My lips curled into a smile, "Wow, Gerard... I never thought you would think about that stuff."

He rubbed his neck, "Well, I do."

I went over and straddled his lap, "We can do whatever you want."

He ran his hands up and down my arms, "I'm doing it for you."

"I don't need a big expensive wedding, Gerard." I told him as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

He kissed me, "I think you do."

I didn't argue with Gerard; he always flatters me with his determined mind. I love him.

I was set to end this, but a bunch of ideas came over me as I began writing this chapter. Thank you for having patience; thank you for reading, too!
