Zach's POV.
"Where do you think Cameron lives now?" I wonder out loud.
Mikey sighs. "Zach! You need to stop thinking of Cameron! I don't mean to be mean, but it's getting tiring to hear you constantly, ever single day, talk and wonder about Cameron! It's been eight years!! You need to STOP thinking of him!!"
"Sorry!! I can't help it!! I love him!!" I cry out.
"I know Zach, but Zameron will never happen. You need to stop!"
"Sorry!"
He pats my shoulder and leaves.
I roll my eyes.
"Zach?" Rain wander into his living room.
"Yeah, Rain?"
"Is Santa Claus real?"
"Yes." Yeah, your parents.
"Is the Tooth Fairy real?"
"Yes." Yeah, your parents.
"Easter Bunny?"
"Yes." Yeah, your parents.
"The Devil?"
"Yes."
"Cupid?"
"Defiantly not!!"
"Okay, thank you." He turns and leaves.
What was that about? Kids are strange now-a-days.
I walk into the back yard where Skyler and Krista are playing baseball.
"Sky, why was your child asking me if Santa and 'people' like that are real?"
"I don't know. He's weird like his Father. What did you tell him?"
"I said yes."
She nods. "Heads up!"
I duck just as Krista hits the ball.
It goes flying past my head and flies into the house.
We all hear Michael scream.
"Uhh, can you go make sure he's okay? And get our ball back."
"Sure, Skyler."
I walk back into the house and see Mikey in the dining room, holding the baseball and giving it the evil eye.
"You okay Mikey?"
"Oh yeah. I'm as fine as a man can get after being sacked hard by a baseball."
"Oh. Ouch!" I take the ball from him.
I walk back out. "Yeah, he's fine. Just got sacked by it."
"Ouch. Tell him his Daughter is sorry."
"That's me. Mr. Porter the messenger man." I toss the ball back and go back to Mikey.
"Your Daughter is sorry for sacking you with a baseball."
"It's okay."
"See you." I punch his shoulder and walk out.
