Never Shout Pierce The Sirens!

Chapter Nine: Kellin

I sat on my porch waiting for Allison to arrive home.
I tapped my foot on the concrete nervously.

I watched her pull up into her driveway and as she stepped out of the car.

I made my way over to her. She saw me coming and waited.

"Good morning, Kellin." she greeted me.

"Well, hello, good morning." I said back.

Her hair was a mess, and her clothes hung stretched on her body.

I looked her up and down, I cracked a smile, "Come over tonight."

She nodded and walked inside.

---

I dimmed the lights in the house, and I had lit candles along the hallways.
I drug Allison through the hall and out a back door.

"Where are you taking me?" she questioned.

"Shut up," I put my arm around her shoulder, "I wanna show you something."

It was a clear skied night. The stars shone through the sky and the wind blew lightly.

We approached empty, abandoned looking buildings. I stopped and stood infront of it with arms out, begging for a reaction.

"Uhh..." she started.

"Just wait for it!" I instructed.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her to the ladder on the building.

"Follow me." I said.

I began to climb, one foot at a time, hoisting myself up to the roof of the building. Allison followed me as told.

I made it to the top and reached for Allison's hand, helping her up.

"This is what you wanted to show me?" she searched the rooftop for something worthy of show.

"No," I signaled her to the edge, "this is."

I stood aside her and pointed up to the sky.

"Look how beautiful those stars are. This is the absolute best view I've been able to find out here." I told her.

She studied the stars for a moment and cocked her head to me.

"Why did you bring me here?"

"Well, there is a reason. But it's kind of crazy." I explained.

"Crazy's a bit of a strong word, spit it out."

"I leave for my tour in about a week." I sat down overlooking the ledge.

"Yes?" she said impatiently.

"And you'll be here with the whole summer to yourself."

"Correct." she responded.

"I think it would be a better opportunity if you came along on tour and played back up guitar for me."

She paused and stared blankly at the sky.

"What?"

"Will you come with me on tour?"
