Let The Walls Come Down

Jess Bowen and Stephen Gomez are best friends. Everyone knows that. Same with the fact that John Gomez, Stephen's brother, likes Jess. But he is meek and kind enough to be happy with just being friends with Jess. He wanted her to be happy even if that means letting her go and hurting himself in the process.

All these are discreet to Jess though.

In Jess' point of view, John only likes her as a friend and she herself is not even sure if she and Stephen are a little behind best friends, are best friends, or are a little more than best friends. Stephen confuses her. A lot. And there is a coherent reason for her confusion.
