She's alone, like he knew she would be. As he walks in the door, she looks up with a fake smile. "How was work yesterday?"

He replied, "Okay. I slept over at my friend's." He thinks it revealing that she doesn't even care and smiles at him. "How about you?"

Her eyes are like mazes, and yet he's found the end. "Oh, I came home early and had dinner, watched TV, went to sleep."
