A Beauty in Disguise

Shortly after the party was over and everyone had left the party I got up, there was no chance of me going to sleep tonight.

"I'm going for a walk" I called to rose who was sitting on the sofa watching late night television with Chris.
"Okay!" Rose called back, "Be safe!" Chris added. I smiled and stepped out of the large heavy oak front doors jacket in hand. I pulled my jacket on over the tank top that I had been wearing all evening while mooching around in my room in the hope that my goose pimple-covered arms
As I walked I admired the beauty of the night sky, the way the black of the sky contrasted with the white of the moon and the gold of the stars. As I walked my arms began to warm up. The hairs on the back of my neck however, began to prickle the moment I left our road, my built in bastard radar was telling me that someone that I didn't want to meet right now was not so far away. I began to walk faster towards the park, the park where Chris first kissed me. Hoping to take cover and hide in the shelter of the trees until they
left. The person in question, if my guess was correct was Kaden.
