It's the first year Scout is eligible for the Hunger Games, but on a stroke of bad luck, her name is drawn during the reaping. Due to her young age, small stature, and her innocent nature, Scout is immediately labeled an underdog and written off in the sponsor's minds, but she has a fire inside that's a lot stronger than anybody thinks.
