“Are not!!” yells another boy with a massive afro. Pete clears his throat standing in front of me. All of them turn & look at him pausing the game.
“What Pete?” asks a boy with red shaggy hair
“We have a new member to our group” Pete says stepping out of the way so all of them can see me
“Ummm Uhhh H-H-Hi” I stutter playing with my hands
“Is she your girlfriend?” the guy with the hat asks
“Umm no” Pete says
“Is she your friend?” he asks
“No” Pete says getting annoyed
“Then who is she?” the guy with the afro asks
“She is a vampire” she says
“Pete you didn’t, you couldn’t have.” The guy with shaggy hair says gawking.
“I don’t know what happened. I couldn’t control my erg to & someone pushed me into her & I just sort of bit her” Pete says rubbing his neck in unison. They just stare at me & Pete in dead silence “Well umm this is Joe” Pete says pointing at the guy with an afro. “This is Patrick” he says moving his hand over to the guy with the hat. “Last but not least this is Andy” Pete says pointing to the guy with long shaggy hair
“Ummm hi” I say nervous
“Hi..” they all say in unison staring at me. I stand there not knowing what to do. They all turn around going back to playing there game. I sigh & sit on a love seat in the room. Pete goes & sits next to me.
“What are you doing?” I ask scotching away from him.
“I’m sitting down.” He says
“Why next to me?” I ask rolling my eyes
“That because it’s a free country & o can sit where ever I want” he says
“Doesn’t mean sitting next to me.” I growl. He sighs in frustration & stomps upstairs slamming the door shut behind him.
“I think he likes you” Patrick says smiling big. I stare at him gawking. Joe & Andy smile also. I start to laugh nervous. They all give me a weird look as I start to laugh harder.
“I think she’s lost it” Joe says
“Yeah” Patrick & Andy say staring at me. As I’m laughing a sharp pain shoots thru my body like earlier & I start crying.
