Save You Tonight

Enchanted

The summer sun shone on an old manor house in the English countryside. Violin music was playing quietly in the entrance hall as numerous guests made their way into a beautifully decorated room, flowers of lilac and light green hung from walls, chairs were decorated with elegant linen and the floor had a make shift ivory linen isle. There was a wedding taking place in the manor at precisely 12 noon and there was an excited buzz in the air.

A young man was staying in a room upstairs, dressing for the event with a horrible, sick feeling creeping over him. Today he was going to marry the love of his life, and he was terrified. His mother had came into the room to check on him moments before, helping him tie his bow tie and crying at how proud she was. Now that he was alone again his hands shook with anticipation. He wanted to get married, and there wasn't anything to actually be scared of...yet he was scared, very.

The oak door opened and his best man came into the room with a grin, his blonde hair looking the tidiest it had ever done in all the years the groom had known him. He handed the groom a glass of whisky and told him to drink it for the nerves before steering him off downstairs, towards his wedding.

Shaking hands, nervous stomach, unruly messy hair. This wasn't exactly how one's wedding day should be remembered. The door opened and a woman smiled at her child. It was time.

The couple stared into each others eyes, hands clasping hands. All fear was gone as the vows were exchanged and rings were slipped onto fingers. Some guests were crying, including the mothers of the couple.

"You may now kiss."

The two moved together, pressing their lips against each other softly. The guests clapped and cheered, happy for the couple. It had been a beautiful wedding, and the reception promised to be just as good.

The guests filled out of the ceremony and into the dining room for the wedding lunch. The room grew quiet as the announcer took his place.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Harry and Louis Tomlinson."

The guests cheered and clapped as the pair came into the room with the wedding party in tow. They took their places at the head table and everyone settled down, taking seats and shushing their children.

"I'd just like to thank everyone for being here to share this day with Lou and I. If you'd told me when I was 17 that I would be married to the man of my dreams only three years later, chances are I wouldn't have believed it. Louis and I have been through so much together, and I thank god every minute of every day that I get to share with him. He's my soul mate, my perfect man. I couldn't be happier than I am now, and I hope that I'll be able to share the rest of my life with this man. Thank you," Harry sat down with a tear, taking a long sip from his champagne glass.

Louis stood up looking nervous "I'm not great with words, so this won't be long...Harry" he let out a choked sigh with a smile "When we met I was young, confused, probably a little bit mentally challenged-" The guests let out a soft laugh in unison even though his 'joke' wasn't the funniest or of the best taste, "and you came along and gave me everything I thought I couldn't have...would never have. You mean everything and more to me and I never want to spend another day in this lifetime and the next without me...you saved me. You saved me back then, you saved me every day since...even now, just by being there...you save me. I love you."
