Alex and Nicky strike back

It was finally Monday, the start of the new school year. It was also Alex and Nicky's first day of high school. Both boys were very nervous.
"You don't have to be," Becky told them during breakfast, "It will be fun."
They hoped Becky was right, because high school was very different. The bus arrived at their house. Both of them didn't like riding without their parents.
"At least Michelle gets to drive," Alex said. He was jealous since Michelle was a senior. Pretty soon they arrived to Monroe High.
"Nervous, nervous, cool," Nicky said as they entered the school, "Maybe this will be the start of a new chapter in our lives."
The boys took a seat in their first class- History. The teacher arrived and stated that freshmen should report to the auditorium for a meeting. When Alex and Nicky arrived to the auditorium, they were confused. What was this?
Pretty soon the principal began to speak, "Welcome to high school. The next four years will be the best of your lives."
He continued and then said,"And now our student council president Michelle Tanner will like to say a few words."
