Persephone's Story

When I first saw Hades I fell in love. It wasn't long before he asked me to be queen of the Underworld with him. But my mother, who was bitter about leaving her and the earth for the dark and dreary Underworld, told everyone that I was kidnapped. She just couldn't believe I would leave willingly, and refused to believe that I loved Hades, but it's true. Every last word.

I am Persephone and this is my story.
