"Grandma! Can you tell us how you met Lolo?"
I looked at the kids sitting in front of me. They shouldn't be called kids though. They were already in their teens but to me, they were still my young apos. I smiled at them and said, "Are you sure? I might not remember it."
They were sitting on different chairs and one said, "Sige na, Lola! We really want to hear it. Si Mama kasi, she said that your story is funny."
I chuckled and thought, 'They were so young before and now they've grown up. Time flies fast.'
"Gusto niyo ba talaga malaman?"
They nodded eagerly and leaned a little closer to me.
"Well, 45 years ago, on the day of my school's festival. . ."
