By the time November rolled around,
Catie and mark were a couple
and I was falling hard for a high school boy
named Mike.
He called me pretty.
He was my brother's best friend.
I was thirteen
and he was fourteen,
a freshman....
but I had a boyfriend already.
A boy in Spain called Javi
who was nineteen.

Javi broke up with me in December.
