I dropped my bag out the window and it hit the ground with a thud. I looked around my bedroom quickly, seeing if I had forgoten anything. Cellphone, check. I-pod, check. Chargers, check. Clothes, well the necessities , check. Looks like I had all the important stuff. Good to go. I turned back to my window and climbed out carefully, hanging onto the windowsil. I let go of my window and bent my legs, bracing myself for the impact of the two story fall.
when I hit the freshly wet ground, my legs gave out and I fell down. I layed there for a moment to catch my breath before I got to my feet and wiped off my grey sweatshirt and skinny jeans. Throwing my bag over my shoulder, I hiked the few miles into the middle of town to wait for a bus.
