In a distant planet called Novas which is very t similar to earth a teenager named Rai who is 17 is on his way to school with his friend Marc The story begins when two friend are headed to their way to their school called Lucia High School. “Hey Marc instead of walking the normal lets take this shortcut”. “Are you sure Rai we should be headed to school”?” “Yeah im sure Rai said traveling toward the shortcut. l Marc and Rai went the other way. While walking toward the shortcut Rai felt something calling him toward a nearby forest. The urge was really strong and Rai just started walking toward it. Hey wait up im coming with you Marc said running to Rai.
“This forest looks pretty strange I don’t think we should be here Marc said. “Rai! Don’t go in there as Marc said while standing back at the entrance of the forest with a feeling of nervousness about the place. Rai ran in eager to discover the mysteries the forest held. Marc finally caught up with Rai, and they were astounded of the scenery of the forest. It was enormous the trees were as soaring to the sky like they had no end. It was quiet it contained lots unique animals from the usually one outside of the forest.
There was a bizarre glow to the forest too, and it had small Bugs circling the air. “Whoa this place is remarkable Rai said with excitement”. “I know” Marc said as he walked up to a massive waterfall. The water was dark blue and it had tiny sparkling silver crystals in it. Rai ran to catch up with Marc. As he was running he didn’t notice he his leg on a sharp tree branch. He didn’t see it until I looked down. He saw blood falling from his leg slowly. He didn’t mind though he just sat on the edge of the waterfall, and gazed at the horizon in amazement Marc eventually joined him.” I’m sort of thirsty and this water looks like it tastes good Marc assumed”. He his hand out and let some water fall into his hand.” Are you sure you can trust that water” Rai said with caution. “Sure why not” He drank that water in his hands and his eyes opened up big. “You have to try this water it’s so good Marc said smiling. “Ok sure” Rai tried some of the water also “wow your right this is good”! Suddenly Rai felt a little tingle on his leg where the cut was. He looked down at it and saw that his cut sealed up instantly. “Wow did you see that Marc my cut just healed right before my eyes” Rai said struggling for words.
“Whoa really that’s amazing this must be some special healing water” Marc explained. Marc and Rai looked down the waterfall and saw a rope descending to the bottom of the waterfall. “Hey Marc I bet there is something behind this waterfall why else would there be a rope”? “I have no clue, but if you want to check it out you can”. Rai jumped off the waterfall, and grabbed onto the rope. The momentum of the rope guided Rai toward the waterfall and he jumped straight into it.” Rai! Are you okay Marc yelled”? There was no answer. Meanwhile Rai fell onto the ground inside the waterfall. “This must be a cave of some sort Rai said to himself” He walked around the dark Empty cave. He came to a dead end. He felt around the walls to try to see where he was at. Suddenly he hand sunk into an engraving in the wall. He hand started to glow a light yellow color. The all opened up and behind it was a yellow stone. He approached the stone slowly. Before he touched it the stone started to float in the air. The stone floated right above his hand and landed in it softly. “Is this really the chosen one” a voice said softly. Who’s there” Rai said terrified. “It looked nothing like him another voice” said softly. “Let’s stop him then”. Rai turned around and saw two eye that were glowing one of them was Purple the other was Red. Suddenly Rai started to float and he was thrown out the cave. Struggling to hold on to the stone he accidently crushed it in the palm of his hand and a yellow aura surrounded his whole body. He hit the ground outside of the waterfall and saw to people flying from the fall approaching him fast one was a young girl and a Man who seemed to be her father. Finish him he said the girl took the sword she had on her back and ran at Rai. Rai stuck his hand out and yelled “stop”! All of a sudden a lightning came from his palm and flew toward the girl. The girl ducked and the lightning struck her father right in the heart. Her father fell to his knees and fell unconscious. “What did you do”! She ran up to me to me. Rai threw a punch at her, but
She grabbed his hand and tossed him over her shoulder, and he fell on the ground. She disappeared in front of Rai and put a sword to his neck. Fear surged though his body as he stared into this girls eyes. She had light purple eyes she was about 5 foot and her hair was curly and fell down to her waist.
“Who are you why did you come here” she said angrily. I struggled to get my words out and finally I said “my name is Rai I live in Lucia Town and I was just exploring with my friend Marc”. “You have a friend “she said shocked! “Yes why”? This place is not safe this forest is my home, but lately I’ve felt a dark presence within this place and all my friends and family have been disappearing. “My father said if this dark presence find someone with a heart that has just a little evil within it there will be captivated by it”, and they will turn into a black silhouette of themselves. She turned around and searched for her father he was still on the ground he looked lifeless. She disappeared toward to the water fall dipped her hand in the water fall and disappeared back to her father’s side. She put her hand over the area was he was hit at and the hole sealed up. He finally opened his eyes slowly and saw his daughter and Rai in the distance. “Are you ok Dad” the girl said “Yes I’m fine Yue” he said “That’s a very beautiful name” Rai said. “Don’t try to sweet-talk me your still going to die” Yue said. “Then why didn’t you do it while you had the chance Rai said dusting off his shirt”. Because I heard a voice in my head I’ve never heard it before and it said don’t kill you. “That voice was the guardian of the forest called Yanma” he father explained. “Every once in a while Zen will chose somebody that enters this forest when it chooses you it means you indeed are the chosen one because you are pure of heart” her father added details . “Chosen one”? Rai said. “Yes just like Zen was back when he was the guardian he chooses somebody who is just like him to protect the forest and you are the one” her father said. “By the way my name is King Luce me and my daughter were told to come to this forest to meet the new chosen one apparently you are the one”. She lowered her sword “I am sorry for being so aggressive strange people have been wondering this forest this week and I was making sure you weren’t trying to steal the our rare artifact”. “What artifact” Rai asked while dusting off his shirt and pants. “Let’s just say it keeps this place which I call home from being destroyed”.
“I must protect it with my life for the sake of my people”. “It sounds pretty important to you guys Marc and I were not trying to steal it we are two innocent teenagers just exploring that’s all”.” I see you are telling the truth your heart is pure and so is your friends the water you drank accepted you if you were evil the water would have had no effect”. “I have told you too much I know our paths will cross again see you soon” she jumped in the tree and took a look back at me. “Wait!! Before you go may I get to know your name”?

He started walking around heading for the exit when he bumped into something. He fell to the ground what was that he said scratching his head. Suddenly a strange man appeared in front of him he had marc in his hand holding him by his collar. He stared at me with a mean look. Rai ran up to the man but before he got to him he disappeared. No! I can’t believe this is happening. Rai ran toward the exit maybe this is all a dream he thought to himself. As he was running toward the exit Yue was standing at the exit Rai ran up too her. “Do not tell anyone of this place if you do this place and everyone you love and care about will be destroyed” Yue said with a concerned look on her face. Yue I have bad news I think some man took my friend I think it’s the dark presence you were talking about. How did he look? Yue said Well he was about six foot tall kind of dark skinned with grey hair he also had dark red eyes is that the person you were talking about Rai said scared. Yes that is him! Oh no your friend is in trouble by the looks of it if the dark presence has grey hair he must be trying to look for a new apprentice your friend must have went to the dark side of the forest while you were fighting us” Yue explained. Wow really how do we get him back Rai said? I don’t know but I will escort you out of the forest to make sure you are safe. So who is that guy that took my friend do you know him Rai asked? “Yes my father told me old tales of him”.” He is the source of all darkness he is the ruler of the other side of the forest. Darkness lies on the other side you must never go there. If your heart isn’t strong enough to resist the darkness it will take over your heart and turn you evil just like him his name is Lucifer by the way”. According to the tales my father told me he is trying to take over both worlds”. Both worlds? Rai said confused. “Yes both worlds let me explain your world is the world outside of this forest normally you wouldn’t have found this place it would have just been a regular forest somebody must have opened the portal to our world”. Oh I get it now and I kind of think I know who opened the portal Rai said. Who Yue asked. I believe it was Zen before I walked past the forest I felt something pulling me toward the forest it must have been Zen. Oh your right it must have been him well it’s getting late so if something goes wrong call me. But I don’t have your number Rai said smiling a little. Number Yue said confused what’s that. It’s a um never mind he said laughing. “Here give me your hands” Yue insisted. Rai gave her both of his hands. Yue closed her eyes and suddenly a yellow light started traveling from Yue’s heart to Rai’s. Then all of a sudden Rai’s eyes turned dark yellow. Now we can communicate telepathically. Also you can talk to me through your dreams bye Yue said waving she disappeared in a flash. Rai went back to his house and got some water he sat down at the table I was thinking about Yue and Marc. What a day he said to himself he went upstairs and went to sleep. Meanwhile… wow that guy was so amazing Yue said as she lied in her bed looking at the ceiling. She lived in a giant Castle Lucia Kingdom. Maybe I can visit him in his dreams then we can talk some more she said in her head. I’m going to do that I have to talk to him some more. She eventually fell asleep hoping to succeed in her plans to evade Rai’s dreams.
