Bleeding Hearts Grow but Never Die

*****Chelsey POV*****

The next morning after waking up, I stretched and stepped out of my bed. The pain from being hit last night was starting to really set in but I still didn’t care. It was my sister that I was worried about. I left my room and went into hers… She was still sleeping. I decided to shower and get ready while I waited; I know there’s probably no point since we most likely won’t go to school. I took off my clothes and started the shower. The hot water stung my body as I got in but at the same time it felt so nice. I just stood in the shower thinking about last night… how I hate him for doing this to us but what can we do I just can’t wait to get out of here with Autumn. I step out of the shower and put on my robe and wrapped the towel around my head. I walked into my sister’s room again to check on her, thank god she’s awake.

“Hey. How are you feeling love?” I asked her knowing what the answer was.

“Like shit.” She replied, “I don’t think we should go anywhere today to be honest…”

“I don’t think we should go to school, but what about seeing the guys again?” I questioned, “We promised…”

“I don’t really feel up to doing anything…” She stated as she looked down in anguish.

“Ok…” I mumbled walking out of her room.

I called mom and told her that we didn’t feel good again and to please call us in sick so she did. Now all I have to do is convince Autumn to go see the guys like we promised.

*****Autumn POV*****

After Chelsey left I just lounged in my room looking at the freshly blackened eye I got last night. How can someone treat their own child like this? Our father used to be such a hard working man when we were little… Tears started running down my face. I fell to the floor and just cried thinking about mine and my sister’s life. How can she be so positive still? I thought to myself for a while about everything before I finally got up to cover my eye. I went to see what Chelsey was up too. I walked down the stairs and she was in kitchen since our father was in the living room.

“Hey” She smiled. The look in her eyes didn’t show happiness

“Hi” I smiled back; I looked in the other room and saw our dad sleeping on the couch.

“Autumn?” My sister said softly.

“Yes?” I said turning to face her.

“Please can we go see the guys?” she looked down, “I just feel bad because we promised and this is pretty much a once in a life time chance”

I looked down at the table, “They’re a great band and all Chels… but I don’t know, I just… I don’t trust them…”

“But Autumn, we PROMISED” she stressed.

I didn’t answer her.

“Fine Autumn don’t go.” She picked up the car keys, “Tell dad I went to the store”

I rolled my eyes and quickly grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. My sister sure had a way of making me feel guilty some times. I told dad we went to the store to pick up milk and some other things as well. I went to the fridge grabbed the milk drank some then poured the rest out. I ran out the door and saw Chels standing there smirking.

“I knew you’d come” She said laughing while unlocking the car.

“Shut up and get in the car.” I grinned

*****Synyster POV*****

We sat in our hotel room waiting patiently for our bus to already be fixed but chances are we’re going to have to cancel the show anyway. On the plus side of that, like Jimmy said we’d get to relax. I couldn’t get my mind off of Chelsey. I want to get to know her better... I wonder what could have been wrong yesterday… I trailed off in my mind.

“Syn!”

“Yes?” I said breaking out of my thoughts.

“Do you know when the girls are coming back?” Zacky asked looking a little upset that they weren’t here yet.

“No, but I’m sure they’ll come, its only one” I answered back, “I’m sure they’re at work or something.”

I glanced over a Jimmy and Johnny who were playing video games. Matt was out getting some food. I decided to join Jimmy and Johnny for a few.

“You guys gonna ask out those girls?” Jimmy asked still glued to the screen of the TV.
Zacky looked over at me and I returned the stare.

“It’s not like you guys have much to lose.” Johnny stated, “we are gonna be here for a while so...”

“Why not?” Jimmy finished his sentences.

Neither one of us answered. Maybe they were right I don’t have anything to lose, I’m gonna give it a shot.

-Few hours later-

There was a knock at the door.

“I’ll get it!” Matt yelled. He looked through the peep hole and smirked, “It’s the girls”

He opened the door. The girls walked in, Chelsey smiling and Autumn looking around cautiously.

“We can’t stay long” Autumn stated anxiously, “….We have to get things for our father.”

“It’s fine.” Zacky smiled at her and shrugged, “At least you came by”

I looked over at Chelsey, “What happened yesterday?”

“Oh nothing just forgot to run some thing’s over for our mother that we were late for…” She trailed off a bit. I just looked down then over at the guys and exchanged glances with each one of them. I can tell they were as worried as I was, but I’ll just drop it for now…

“We just came over mostly to apologize for not showing up early enough” Chelsey half smirked.

“Hey, do you think that we can go talk outside?” I asked smiling.

“Yeah” She smiled back.

*****Chelsey POV*****

We walked outside and sat on the stairs stares of the hotel. He smiled at me and then looked away I felt myself slightly blush.

“I was wondering if you’d like to go on a date with me?” He smiled shyly, “I mean we can go as friends if you’d like…”

“I’d love to” I smiled.

“Hey Chels we have to go.” I heard Autumn yell from the guy’s door.

“Ok.” I yelled back. Synyster and I got up and walked to the door. We said our good byes and gave everyone hugs.
