The Sound of Settling

Philippa is the strong willed daughter of the governor of a small farming town in Renaissance Italy. Her father has forced her to end her friendship with her oldest friend Alfonso because of his low social status, creating a rift between them. When the unfamiliar Harold Anton arrives as her father's guest, it sets off a tumultuous chain of events that will impact the lives of Philippa, Harold, and Alfonso for decades to come.
