Nobody's Perfect

"How yall feel about Drake coming over and crashing our movie night?"

"He better not call me little no more."

I laughed and parked the car in our driveway.

I went to my room and hopped in the shower.

I towel dried my hair and threw on something.

I rushed to the kitchen to begin making some snacks.

I made Carmel popcorn, candy apples, and Cinamon popcorn. I grabbed Mike & Ikes, Sugar babies, and Cotton Candy from the cabinet.

I walked into the movie room and sat the food on the table.

"TJ GRAB SOME DRINKS!"

"Ma. You could just use the intercome."

I hit the talk button.

"Just get the drinks."

I was setting everything up when TJ brought the drinks.

"You flexin!"

"So what if I am?"

"Ooooo Saphy mama tryin get wit Drake!"

Saphire came in and winked at me.

"Ya man at the door."

"Then stop worrying bout me flexin and get the door!"

TJ sat the drinks down and all seven movies.

We had A Thousand Words, American Reuinon, Contraband, Joyful Noise, One for the Money, Project X, and We the Party.

I put One for the Money in the player.

"Ma! Brey here!"

TJ, Saphire, and Drake walked in.

"Hey Drew."

"Hey Aub."

I gave him a hug and then dragged him over to the couch and made him sit down. I hit play and sat down next to Drake.

"Saphy pass me a Mucho Mango."

"Magic word?"

"Pweeeeeaaaassseeee bestest daughter ever!"

She laughed and tossed me to can of Arizona Tea.

Drake put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him.

"Aye! Leave room for Jesus!"

"TJ stop blocking."

I kiss Drake on the cheek and smirked at TJ.

I snapped a picture when my mom kissed Drakes cheek and put it on twitter.

"But I'm the bestest daighter ever! Now hushy the movies on!"

I grabbed some Sugar Babies and laid my head in TJ's lap.

"TeeTee."

"What Saph?"

"I'm the bomb like tick, tick."

He rolled his eyes and threw a piece of popcorn at me and it landed in my mouth.

"Ha!"

Seeing her around her kids and comfortable is an amazing thing. She's so open and fun like a completely different girl than I first met who was more gaurded.

"MOMMY!"

Drew ran away from Saphire.

"DREW NIKHILE TURNER! I'm calling Grandma!"

Drew stopped and dropped Saphire's cookies on the table then stuck out her tongue.

"Snitch."

"Meanie."

I pulled Drew down on my lap and nuzzled my nose into her neck.

"Stop being a bully."

"But-"

I poked her side and she broke out into a fit of giggles.

"Stop!"

The doorbell rang and TJ went to answer it.
