Nobody's Perfect

***Next Day***

I finally called Jermaine cause Saphire has been bugging me since she woke up, since she spent the night at my house.

"Hello?"

I looked at the clock and saw it was 11:00.

"Hi, it's Drew. Sorry if I'm waking you but Saphire really wants the ice cream and shopping trip she was promised."

I heard a bunch of noise on the other end of the phone.

"Uhm sure. Give me an hour and meet me at your store?"

"See ya in a hour."

I hung up and went to find Saphire.

"Auntie D what he say?"

I jumped and turned around.

"He said you betta get in the bath if you want to be on time."

She ran to her room. Did I mention I spoiled her?

I followed her into the bathroom attached to her room and started the water.

"You know when to turn it off. And if you finish before me, go watch TV in the game room ok?"

"Ok."

I left her to take her bath then went to my room to find something to wear.

Once I was happy with the two outfits I picked out I stripped and went to my bathroom. I got in and washed my hair and my body.

I got out and wrapped a towel around me after drying off before walking over to the intercome.

I hit the talk button, there was one in every room so I knew she would hear me.

"Saphy go in my room and pick out the outfit you like while I do my hair. Put the outfit you don't like in my drawer."

A couple seconds later I heard her voice.

"Ok Auntie D"

I blow dried my hair then hooked up my straightener.

It took 45 minutes but I finally finished

I walked out and saw the outfit Saphire picked out.

I got dressed and put on some chapstick before putting on my Chicago Bulls snapback.

"Saphy!"

She ran into my room with my keys and phone.

"Maine call you."

"What he say?"

"He said to tell you that he there waiting."

"Ok. Leggo!"

I walked out and made sure Saphire was safely in the car before pulling off.

I saw Drew's bright yellow car pull up and I immediently sat up straighter.

As soon a the car came to a stop out ran Saphire.

"Maine!!"

I got down to her level.

"Phire wassup?"

She took my snapback off my head and put it on hers.

"Hi Jermaine."

"Wassup Drew."

"My car or yours?"

"Lets take Maine car!"

We both looked down at Saphire as she bounce up and down.

Drew walked over to my car without a word. Damn, what did I do now?
