The Date!
I was getting ready for my date with Jennifer. I couldn't help but wait that I was gonna get a chance to be on a date with her. I thought to myself that this was a dream and that my life would never be the same. With her in my life, she can make all the pain go away. I had fallen in love for the first time in my life.
Lexi and Amanda walked in to my room and saw the smile I had on my face. They haven't seen a smile on my face in a really long time. I don't even remember the last time I smiled.
''Look at you, you look so nice Austin. I hope that everything goes great with you guys.'' Lexi told me with a wonderful attitude.
Then Mandy said,''Austin, remember what Shane said? When he told us that humans were the enemy. I just want you to be safe, When you know that there vampires out there that are gonna follow his rules.''
''Listen, this is the first time in years that I have been happy. I'm not about to let the vampire council and the rat bastard Shane gonna kill my happiness. This is my life and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let Shane get to me or you two or even Jennifer.'' Then I whispered to myself that I loved her.
The girls couldn't help but awe at my new found love for Jen. I laughed and smiled because they knew that I was in love for the first time. Then I thought about that One Direction song ''What Makes You Beautiful'' and thought that that song described how I felt about her.
Before I left I went to check up on Lexi. She was lying on her bed with her eyes closed as I tucked her in. She then woke up when I went to turn of her light.
''Austin, I know its kind of dumb and were older now but, since you missed out on my life, Well for old times, do you mind reading me a bed time story? Its okay if you can't.''
''Of course Lexi, anything for my little sister.'' I was happy I was doing this. For a minute, it felt like it was like it was when she was five years old again. I loved it. I read her the story and kissed her goodnight.

I was beginning to approach Jennifer's house. It was a old fashion house with a front porch and a big yard. I knocked on her door and her little 5 year old brother answered.
''Well hey there little guy. Is your sister home?''
''MOMMY THERE'S A BOY AT THE DOOR'' . The little boy yelled for his mother as she came down stairs.
''Hello you must Austin, I'm Melina Jennifer's mom.'' I stood Outside and waited for her to invite me in. Vampires needed to invited in someone's house for many reasons.
''Hey Austin why don't you come inside and I'll be downstairs soon.'' Jennifer greeted me and invited me in. I was officially able to come when ever I want if she needed to be protected.
''Well Austin, it was nice meeting you but I have to go, have to take my son to his father. Have fun but not too much fun.''
I laughed as I said,''She is in good hands. You have nothing to worry about.''
As she left the house with her son, Jen came downstairs. She was wearing this lovely dress and her hair was beautiful. She was lovely. Her presence made my darkness go away and all of my pain.
''Well look at you. You look so...beautiful, what are having for dinner?''
''Well thank you Austin. I hope you like Mac and Cheese with bread crumbs and fried chicken.'' Its funny, my mom made that for me all the time. We talked about each other and laughed and shared stories of each other and ate this delicious food. Then she asked me about the real me.
''So Austin tell about the real you. I wanna know who you really are.''
''Well...'' Then all of a sudden there is a bang at the door and a guy yelling for Jen. She went to answer the door. It was Matt.
''Matt what are you doing here. I told you we are over.''
''Jenny... please take me back, I need you.''
''I think you need to leave Matt. I believe she doesn't want to be with you so why don't you get lost. I had compelled him to leave Jen alone and get over her. He walked away and didn't come back. I faced Jen and our eyes locked. Finally I went in for a kiss and our lips met. It was official I was in love. I had told her goodnight and I'll see her in school.
As I was walking home, group of vampire came and attacked me. I did all I can to fight back as started to kill each of them. They had beaten me down and thought that this was all of Shane's plan all of a sudden I was shot in the leg with a wooden bullet.
I looked up. It was Matt!
