After the death of her father, Aidan Sommers' world is turned upside down. Aidan's older brother, Lucas, has tried everything to keep Aidan together, but as her partying and attitude gets out of hand he is left with no choice but to send Aidan to live with their aunt Jenna in Mystic Falls, VA.
Elena Gilbert has never gotten along with her cousin, Aidan. Elena had always thought that Aidan was too tomboyish and rude, and Aidan thought that Elena was too stuck up and bossy. Will the two be able to settle their differences and finally come together as a family to survive Mystic Falls' new occupants?
