Ellen's New Life

We Don't Need This, We Want It

I pushed Mikey off of me.

"Mikey, we don't need this," I said.

"We don't need it, but we want it," he said.

"But that's not good, you're my uncle!"

"The forbidden things taste even better. Didn't you read the Bible in school?"

I laughed. He makes a joke out of everything.

"But is this why you want me? Because I'm your niece?"

"Of course it's not just that."

"Then what is it?"

"You ask too much questions, sweetheart."

"It's kinda creepy that you call me sweetheart."

"Why would that be creepy?"

"You're 29. I'm 14. Is this not enaugh reason for you?"

"I don't know. Do you think it should be?"

"Why do you turn around every word I say?"

"Why do you do it?"

"You always answer me with a question."

"Better that than what you do, you always change the subject when I ask you something."

"I don't."

"You do."

"Whatever."

Then, he kissed me again. We started making out. Making out, with my 30-year-old uncle, out on the street.
