Actions Speak Louder Than Words, but Words Can Portray a Whole Lot
A one-shot for This contest.
I kind of took this from the view point of a theater nerd. In drama competitions they have improv divisions for pairs to do their best improv based on a slip of paper they pick at random with the given circumstance and all they have is two chairs and five minutes to act out what they're given.
In this contest, you're given two people having a conversation and a table and you have to work off of that.
There's no narrative.
There's only dialogue.
So I figured, I have to portray a conversation and some idea of character emotion through natural-sounding dialogue...
I hope I didn't fail too badly!
