Sam woke up to the beating noise coming out her window. She gently walked herself towards her frame and rubbed her eyes at the sun light. Sam's eyes felt puffy and swollen. Hopefully make up will cover it up.

“They’re setting up for the parade,” her grandmother stood holding her puppy. She stood near her door frame and leaned against it for support. “It’s a lot of fun,” she said hoping to boost up Sam’s spirits.

Sam nodded anyway. She felt she needed some fun in her life right now.

She quickly showered and swiftly placed her attire on herself in the matter of time. Sam walked down the grand stairs and plotted her butt one of her grandma’s antique chairs. Every furniture in that house was particularly vintage.

Sam's plate was, not other than, full. Pancakes with a side of bacon and fresh fruits. She made her way to the refrigerator and poured herself a glass of her orange juice.

She placed a few bites into her mouth and placed her dish in the dishwasher near the bottom. Sam stood straight as she fixed her attire.

“You ready darling?” her grandma peeked in and added, “You look dashing dear.”

Sam couldn’t help but blush at her compliment. “Thank you grandma. You look daring yourself,” she smiled and looped her arms through hers.

As Sam stepped out, she felt the morning sun sink deep into her pale skin. She closed her eyes for a second and licked her lips.

“I’ll be over there if you need me,” her grandmother smiled at a bliss group of women. She nodded and closed eyes again and started her breathing exercises. 1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3. Sam felt the air push into her nostrils as she thought about her surroundings. She loved the smell of newly cut grass. She adored the way flowers bent and intertwined. She loved nature itself.

Her eyes shot open as she felt a finger tap lightly on her shoulder blade. She followed the moment as her eyes expanded at the individual.

“Hello there,” Harry smiled his famous smug and dimples.

“Harry?” Sam felt a surprisingly tug of rejoicement in herself. She couldn’t help but take a glance at her grandmother to check if she was watching her. Unfortunately, she saw a glance of Harry in her faint eyes.

“Fancy seeing you here, huh?” he raised an eyebrow and smiled once more at her.

“What are you doing here?” Sam couldn’t help but be curious with his presence.

“I’m preforming,” Harry answered softly. She nodded and looked back at her grandma. She threw her a thumbs up and mouthed he’s cute. Looking back at Harry, she placed her hands in the back of her jean pockets.

“Listen, I didn’t introduce myself clearly before,” Harry whispered and placed his hand in front, “I’m Harry Styles, and you might be?”

She shook his hand. His hand was quite big for hers however surprisingly smooth. She answered in a small voice, “Samatra Raes.”

His dimples popped up, and he held her hand in his for more than what was intended.

When he realized what he’s just done, he quickly took his own hand back. Sam felt that awkward stage coming up. “So since you are performing, break a leg,” she nodded and half smiled. He did his signature hair flip as his eyes sparkled in the optimistic light.

Harry still had that same smile on his face, “Thank you. I hope you like it,” he smiled one last time and disappeared in the crowd. She stood there thinking about his rough bliss.

Why must he be so desirable? Sam thought as she bit her bottom lip and looked down at her shoes. She was falling in love. But how did love feel like?

“Who was that?” her grandmother whispered in her ear, causing her to jump in astonishment.

“No one,” Sam tried as best as she could. Although, it didn’t work with the fact that she practically blushed bleakly. She quickly looked down but she placed her hand under her chin.

“Samatra Michelle Raes,” her grandmother’s smile became wider within that second.

“You know not to use my whole name,” Sam chuckled and pointed a finger at her grandmother.

“Hey, don’t put any fingers at me,” she laughed and pulled her granddaughter closer. Sam brought her hands in defense and bit her lip.

“You like him, don’t you,” she guessed. Her hands flew up to her hair and fixed her messy bun. Sam’s jaw essentially fell to the ground as she said that. She continued, “Am I correct?”

Sam stood quiet and nodded carefully. Her grandmother literally jumped in glee. She squealed and tapped her nose, “I have to say, he’s quite attractive.” She felt her head nod without her permission. She continued, “You actually look happy, Sammi boo.”

“Don’t call me that,” Sam smiled for what seemed like the millionth time. Her grandmother wrapped her arms around Sam’s shoulders as she held her close.

“C’mon, it’s starting,” her grandmother pulled her and brought her to the front.

This was something Sam never experienced. She felt like a little kid first stepping in a candy shop. She found herself clapping and cheering along with the crowd at times she had lost herself in the moment.

We’re One Direction!” said a infrequent voice in a microphone. Sam turned her head like others and followed the sound. It was hard to identify who they were. They were no where near her at that moment.

Sing a long if you know the words,” said the same voice. The crowd simply got wild within the second. The one girl next to her merely went crazy at the sound of their voices.

Who are there guys? Sam thought.

You’re insecure. Don’t know what for. You’re turning heads when you walk through the door. Don’t need make up . . .

Sam has never heard this song before; however, it was appealing. She started to clap along with the crowd to the beat as One Direction almost made it by her area.

Everyone else in the room can see it. Everyone else buy you,” sung a different vocal. Sam arose her head slowly and finally saw what they were all going nuts over.

Baby, you light up my world like no body else. They way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed. But when you smile at the ground it ain’t hard to tell. You don’t know. You don’t know you’re beautiful.”

Harry winked at herself and the rest went more enthusiastic. He. He, as in the one she just shook hands with. He, as the one who called her that day. He, as in the one she was bickering on the plane with. He, as in Harry Styles.

Wait, Harry's in a band?
