Within the tiny crack that separates Russia and Finland, once laid the very rich kingdom of Briar Rose. In the cities that now neighbor the daunting patch of forest rumored to have housed the town, stories of a cursed princess and her silent kingdom have grown rampant. Whether this kingdom existed decades or centuries ago is unclear -among the people who whisper the tale to their children, when Briar Rose fell is an unimportant detail- but as the story slips from history into folklore, this lost princess loses hope of restoring her kingdom to its rightful state.
