Instinct

An unknown curse haunts the village of Ardenwood. Every one-hundred years the people and everything within the village are destroyed; leaving nothing but dead bodies and scorched buildings in its place. A new settlement appears after every attack, unaware of the curse that looms. It is said that settlers are lured there by beautiful women and fruitful crops that disappear after the first winter. For centuries has this pattern continued seemingly without a break in its consistency, but something is different this time; something that could change the pattern for eternity.
