My dearest Izzy,
I'm sorry you have a ton on your mind. I hope things have been resolved by now. It saddens me to know things aren't happy there for you. I know you said you cannot speak of it with me, but just know I am here if you would like to talk. I've been told I'm a great listener. ;P
Now on to this business about the tickets. I have sent you the tickets and passes for the show we have closest to you. I really do hope to see you next month. It would be great to have a face and voice to put with the elegant handwriting and beautiful mind.
I would also like to apologize for how long it has taken me to get this letter out to you. With the tour things got crazy real quick and I have had no moments to myself to write. That's not entirely true. I have written a song with a band mate of mine, and it's about you. I have sent you a CD with an acoustic version of the song just for you. I'd love to hear what you think about it next month. I probably won't be able to get any letters from you before then. It's harder to get mail on the road. It makes me sad to know I won't be able to read anything new from you, but meeting you will be well worth the wait.
