Wendy Moira Angela Darling is about to graduate high school. She'll be off to college in a few short months. Her father keeps telling her to shape up since she's almost 18, which is the start of a teenagers worst nightmare, the age of adulthood. Wendy is not ready to grow up. She doesn't want to leave her brothers, John and Michael; her dog, Nana; and her mother especially.

She always leaves her window open at night. Wendy is quite acquainted with the Peter Pan story. Her mother had always told it to her brothers and herself before they went to sleep. In their childhood, they always pretended to go to Neverland, but that part of her life is all in the past.

One day, Wendy comes back from a friend's party. As she locks her car, Wendy sees an odd site. A boy trying to climb up her window into her room.
