You Make Me Feel So Right, Even When I'm Wrong

1/22

I wake up to my alarm. I turn it off and grab skinny jeans and a tight v-neck shirt. I brush my hair and make sure my natural waves look good. I go and do my make up so it looks natural. I grab my tote bag and put my phone in it and make sure I have everything. I grab one of my A7x hoodies and walk to my car. I drive to Blu Jam. I walk inside it and see Dean. I smile and go over to him. He stands up and hugs me.

“You look good,” Dean asks.
“Thanks Dean. How are you feeling?” I ask her.
“Pretty good. This places look pretty good. I saw some food and those look good.”
“The French toast is good. I know this isn’t the best food for you in mid season.”
“Oh it’s fine I can take care of it.”

I smile and sit down and he smiles at me. The waitress came up and we both order water. My phone rings. I grab it afraid it’s Paris asking me to drive her to the hospital but it’s just my roommate. I turn the ringer off and put it on the table.

“Everything ok?” Dean asks.
“I don’t know. It’s just my roommate,” I said.
“You were fast at grabbing it.”
“Paris doesn’t get sick often and when she normal does she gets hospital sick. I was just afraid it was her telling me to take her or she is going.”
“Oh that’s the look.”

I nod my head and we start talking about food we want. We order and both look at each other and kinda look down at the table.

“So tell me about your family,” Dean said.

I smile and explain to him about me, Paris and our older brother, Luis then the food came. We start eating and I get him to tell me about his parents and sister a little. Once we are done, his phone rings. He looks down at it and sighs.

“I have to get going,” Dean said.
“That’s fine,” I said.

I smile at him. He smiles back at me. The waiter comes back with the check. He looks at it.

“How do I tip?” He asks.
I grab the check and did the math in my head.

“It’s like five dollars,” I said.
“Ok.”

He wrote it down and smiles at me.

“What are you doing today?” Dean asks.
“Checking on Paris and then some homework.”
“Ok.”

I smile at him. He smiles at me. He stands up so I get up as well. He walks with me to my car.

“See you next weekend right?” Dean asks.
“Yep,” I said.

I hug him and kiss his cheek.

“See you next you weekend Dean,” I said.
“Looking forward to it,” Dean said.

I giggle at him and get in my car. I turn the car on and see he walks to his truck. I drive to Paris apartment and open it and see her lying on the couch.

“Need anything?” I ask.

She shakes her head. I sit down and she looks at me.

“What did you do today to get you all happy?” Paris asks.
“Dean and me had a date.”

She smiles and starts asking questions and I answer them for her.

“So did you give him your number?” Paris asks.
“He didn’t ask for it or give me his.”

I sigh and lean back in the chair.

“I wish I knew if he liked me more or not,” I said.
“He does. Deano might want to take it slow.”
“Monster girl,” A blond guy said.

I scream and jump up and hid behind the chair.

“You were listening to that?” Paris asks.
“Walked in at the end. Here is your Gatorade.”
“Thanks honey. Now introduce to my little sister.”
“Hi I’m Dingo.”
“The snowboard announcer?” I ask looking at him.
“Yeah you know about that?”
“I like board sports.”
“Board?”
“Skateboard, Snowboard, and surfing.”
“Understand.”

Paris pulls him down.

“He will behave now,” Paris said.

I get back in the chair and look at her.

“This is the boyfriend?” I ask.
“Yes,” Paris said.
“That is why you did snowboard things all the time all of a sudden.”
“Yes now he is going to explain himself.”
“Riders don’t date promo girls.”
“Jessica and Broc?”
“Special case, He wasn’t on monster either.”
“Dean is just 20.”
“Dean doesn’t want to lose the best team.”
“That is true.”

I nod my head and sigh.

“I’m leaving,” I said.
“He can always be shy,” Paris said.
“Yeah.”

I hug her and go to the dorm.

“Hey,” Lucy said.

I look and see my roommate watching things.

“Not gone this weekend,” She asks.
“No she got sick,” I said.
“Oh why didn’t you answer my call before?”
“I was busy taking care of her. She went to sleep. I’m going to do some reading outside.”
“Ok.”

I grab my book and walk outside and sit down where it’s quite and start reading.

“Hey,” I guy said.

I look up and see a guy.

“It’s nice isn’t it,” The guy said.
“Yeah.”
“I know this might sound odd but I sit there every Sunday.”

I shake my head and get up and walk away.

“Hey come on it was nice pick up wasn’t it,” The guy yells.
“Maybe next time.”

I walk away to the library.
