Chazz is a self-harmer who is sick of being made fun-of. She's ashamed of her scars, but what's the use in hiding them? They are, after all, there. One day, she's decided she has had enough. The bullying has gone too far. The abuse has gone too far at home. She's going to kill herself, finally, once and for all.
Once the summer starts, that is.
During the time from the end-of-the-year to the summer, one boy, Kellin, sticks out like a sore thumb. He's distant, shy, and always wears long sleeves, even in the warmest of weather. Can he save her, can she save him, or is all really lost?
