Baby I'll Be Your Frankenstine

Hangovers and Fair Rides

"Gee?" I cal softly, as I am standing in the doorway to his room.

"..Frankie?" I hear a scratchy voice.

"Gee, are you ok?" I ask, as I run over to him.

"My head hurts.." He moans.

"Anything else?" I ask, concerned

"I think I'm going to puke," He moans.

"OK Gee," I say softly as I lead him out of his room. It's at least 10 in the morning and Lidia is sitting in front of the TV watching cartoons.

I hold Gerard's hand and he's crying.

"Why...do I always mess things up?"

"Gee, you don't mess things up," I tell him.

"Yes I do, I cause problems, for everyone." He whispers.

"I have a surprise for you," I say grinning.

His face perks up.

"Surprise?"

"Yeah, um, do you want to go to the county fair?"

"Now?" He says exitedly, forgeting his hangover.

"Sure Gee, just get dressed and out of your booze soaked clothes."

He races twoards his room and I hear a thud. I race after him.

"Ouch, that hurt," He gasps.

He gets out of his clothes and puts on one of Mikey's t shirts, the Antrax one.

After we both are fully clothed we head downstairs and scribble a note to Donna.

*** At The fair ***

"I wanna ride that!" Gee says exitedly as he points to The Screamer.

"OK," I say as I purchuse two wristbands for ourselves.

Gee and myself get in line and we end up at the very front of the ride.

"What does this do?" Gerard asks.

"I don't know."

I feel us being lifted into the air, and we are swinging like a giant pendulem. We go faster and faster and the ride starts going in circles. Gee is screaming and holding on to the safety bar and he looks like he's about to fall out.

"Get me offa this deathtrap!" He screams.

"What?" I yell back. I can't hear him because of the other riders screaming.

"Frankiiieee!" He screams. "I'm gonnna diiiieeee!"

We start slowing down, is it over? I feel us stopping, but we are not at the bottom...we're at the freaking top! Gee looks like he's going to puke and he starts gripping the safty bar.

"Get me offa here, get me offa here, get me offa here," He repeats.

Finally we stop at the bottom. Thankfully. Gee is shaking and stumbles out of the ride.

"I'm never doing that again." He gasps.

"OK."

We head for something less intense, the Paratroopers.

Gee and myself get on and we get a safety bar put across our laps. Its like the ferris wheel, but the seats turn.

"Fraaaannkkkieeeee! I'm flying!" He squeals like a five year old.

We go on something worse than the Screamer....The Zipper.

Gee looks horrified as he watches the people scream in terror.

Finally its our turn.

"No, no, no, no." Gee repeats.

We get in and are told to hold on. We start moving and flipping in circles. This is WAAY worse.

"Do you think we're done?" Gee asks, breathlessly.

We go backwords suddenly and Gee's about as white as the tiles in the bathroom.

After about 3-4 minutes of torchere we stop. Gee looks terrible.

"Frankie?" He asks weakly.

"Yeah?"

His eyes widen and he throws up all over the concrete sidewalk.

I rub circles in his back and he stops at around a minute later.

We decide to get some crappy fair food and I buy Gee a Mt. Dew and I also buy an elephant ear for us to share. Halfway through the elephant ear Gee is looking sick again.

"Gee?" I whisper, concerned.

He opens his mouth and pukes again.

I decide to take him home so he can rest, when we get there Lidia walks over.

"How was the fair?"

"Scary." I awnser.

"we rode a bunch of scary rides. Like the Zipper, it filps you upside down, a lot." I continue.

"How's Gee?"

"He puked twice."

"oh, OK."

I lead Gee to his room and tell him to go to sleep.
