I have loved MCR since before their Revenge album. When this song came out it was around the perfect time in my life. I was going through so many changes. My parents divorced, and for so long I had blamed myself. I lost friends from high school that meant a lot to me, over something so stupid. I just started college, and I felt myself heading into a deep depression. I felt like no one understood; not even my best friend. When I first heard this song I will admit I cried. Finally, someone understood what it was like going through tough times. “I am not afraid to keep on living,” and from that point on, I really wasn’t afraid to keep on pushing through my tough times. I am proud of the person I have become, through the tears and joys. I was no longer afraid to be myself.
