Falling for You

[Bill]
I stood by the door of my dark hotel room smiling in victory.
I placed the cigarette in my mouth and tossed it to the floor. It tasted like her. I slid down the wall and sat there in front of my door. I considered running after her, but she had to know I was serious.
"I'll call Tom, that's what I'll do." I said aloud.
I picked up my phone and dialed his number, but I sat it back down figuring that Tom would probably just tell me to apologize.
So there I was, alone in my hotel room.
[Mina]
"So he just kicked you out?" Gustav asked rubbing my back.
I nodded and laid next to him, he was just planning to sleep in all day.
"Well my bed is your bed." He said pulling the blanket over me.
I smiled a cuddled up next to Gustav.

The next night I was treated to dinner by Tom, after a whole day of apology shopping.
"So am I off the hook?" He asked with mouthful of pasta.
"Yes Tom," I said reaching over and wiping sauce from his face.
"I just want you to know that it won't happen again."
I shook my head and smiled, "It's cool Tom, we're friends right? Friends leave when other friends need...relief."
He smiled and I put another fork of spaghetti in my mouth.
The night went well, except for Tom's constant texting to Bill.
"Is he okay?" I asked twirling my fork in my plate.
"hmm," Tom asked looking up from his phone.
"Bill, is everything okay?"
"Yeah, he just wants some twin time."
I giggled and the thought of Tom and Bill cuddled up watching a movie.
"So should we go?" I said wiping tne corner of my mouth.
"I guess, it'd give me enough time to pick Bill up some candies,"
"You in a convenience store?"
"What? I'm in a disguise."He said placing 200 pounds on the table...115 more than was needed.
"I still know it's you,"
"Of course you do." He said standing up and putting his jacket on.
I stood up and walked over to him and kissed him lightly.
"What do I owe the pleasure?"
"You've just been so great to me Tom, I really appreciate it."
"I can be amazing can't I."
I rolled my eyes and walked out to the car.
[Bill]
"Tom's coming back for me," I said joyfully to Georg.
"But you don't even want to see him," He said pulling the last jenga piece, topple over.
"I win!" Gustav chimed.
"I do too wanna see my big brother," I said picking up some of the pieces.
"Mhm, and the fact that he's with Mina has nothing to do with it?" He said setting up for another game.
"Not in the slightest."
"Mhm. You first Bill."

About an hour later, I was sitting next to Tom's door when they walked up.
"What took you so long!" I said standing next to the door.
"Traffic,"He said swiping the hotel key.
"I'll see you later," He said to Mina, who looked amazing in her red dress.
She smiled and they kissed quickly.
I peeked into the room to see bags covering half the floor.
She walked inside and closed the door, leaving Tom and I alone.
"Here you go Bibi." He said handing me the bag of sweets.
"Thanks Tomi."
We went into my room and he hopped on the bed, while I put in Arthur and the Minimoys.
"Really Bill?"
"You know I love this movie."
'cause you're in it," He laughed.
I poked my tongue at him and sat next to him. The room was dark except for the fair glow coming from the tv, and it was nice to just have Tom there.
Wrapped up in his arms I felt so safe and at home, something I desperately needed.
"Tom..." I said halfway through the movie.
"hmm?" He said grabbing a handful of gummy bears.
"What's going on between you two?"
"Nothing just watch the movie Billa,"He said rubbing my hair.
Soon my eyelids were heavy and I fell asleep with Tom and dreading the long days ahead of us.
[Mina]
"Dad I had nothing to do with this. You could have said no!"
"That would've made me look guilty. I don't need your little friend bringing the police around here."
"Do you need me to come home?" I asked a little saddened.
"No...just stay...I'll deal with you when I get home."
And he hung up.
Was my dad actually being nice? He had to have some anterior motives.
But regardless, I decided to push the thoughts from my mind and get some sleep.
