The God That Never Came

I've waited for what seemed like forever and now today is graduation and the day Matt tells me what I've won in front of the entire graduating class. I had woken up 2 hours before it was time to go to shower and get dressed for today. I was unbelieveably excited! I pulled on my shoes as best as I could before heading down to the kitchen where Sabrina was all dressed up and ready to go. I knew Matt wouldn't be here to take me because he has to get to the school to do last minute preparations. I got in carefully to Sabrina's new car and we headed over to the school. Sabrina easily found a parking space and we went into the school. I joined my music class and we were seated first. Our diplomas would be handed first before the others for some odd reason. I sat through all the intruductions and shit before Matt finally went to the podium.

"A few weeks before graduation, my music class was presented with a project. This porject was to make an album with 16 songs and album art plus artwork in the album. They also had to perform 3 of their songs. I had my class vote for the one person who stood out the most when he or she sang. That will was Octayne Viscar. Octayne Viscar will you please stand." Matt said and I did with the help of my crutches.

"To my understanding you're getting your casts off today after graduation. Now for your winning in the class project....Tomorrow at 8 am you will be joining me and the rest of Avenged Sevenfold as we tour the country. We're allowing you to sing the 3 songs you performed 2 weeks ago. Congradulations." He said smiling and I could help but throw my hands into the air as the other yelled and cheered. The girl that sat beside me stood and held me up and I waved to everyone. Matt called out our names as each row went up to the stage. He handed me my diploma and I hugged his neck tightly. This is going to be the best time of my life!
