Only a Memory

It’s been two weeks since I’ve seen Annabel and needless to say, it’s also been two weeks since Ashley and CC have been giving me the cold shoulder. I can understand Ashley, but I don’t get why CC is acting like this. It’s not like it’s his cousin I hurt.

Today the band and I are walking into a studio despite just walking out of our recording session. Apparently Annabel is here in L.A recording her bands next upcoming CD. I guess Ashley wants to introduce her to Jake and Jinxx. I sigh to myself as we walk into a studio and see Annabel and her band sitting around. Pens and papers in their hands while Annabel sat on the computer typing up stuff.

Ashley clears his throat, causing the tiny brunette to snap her head up from the computer and smile. She then jumps up out of the chair and walks over and gives Ashley a hug before hugging CC. “Hey boys.” She smiles while looking at CC and Ashley and her smile instantly turns into a frown when she looks at me. “Hey Andy.”

“Hey Annabel.” I greet her with a weak smile.

“Annabel, this is Jake and Jinxx; they’re the guitar players in the band.” Ashley says, introducing Jake and Jinxx.

“Hello boys.” Annabel says, giving them a flirtatious smile.

“Jinxx is taken, missy!” CC yells. Annabel just shakes her head and laughs.

“It’s so weird to see an actually permanent line-up for Black Veil Brides.” She states. “I’m used to the band being like a revolving door.”

“How long have you been a fan?” Jake asks.

“Longer than you know.” She smiles before going back to the computer. “What brings you guys over here anyway?” She asks.

“You’re coming out partying with us.” Ashley laughs. “All of us are going to Whisky-a-GoGo tonight.”

“Sure why the hell not.” She chuckles. “We haven’t had a typical night on the town in awhile.”

“Damn work.” Lizzy, Cut Throat Vixen’s lead guitarist and Annabel’s “terror twin” laughs. “Plus I haven’t been to Whisky in forever!”

“Let’s do it!” Annabel exclaims. I couldn’t help but to smile. I always loved seeing her excited about something…

“What’s up between you and Ashley and CC lately?” Jake asks me and we wait for Ashley and CC along with Anna and Lizzy to arrive. “You guys seem pretty distant.”

“It’s a long story.” I mutter before sipping my beer.

“Then shorten it.” He demands. “I want to know what’s going on with my best friends.”

“In high school, I actually dated Annabel.” I tell him. “Ashley is pissed off at me because I’m the reason why she dropped out of school and moved to L.A.”

“That explains Ashley, but why CC?”

“I have no idea dude, but they both see pretty close.” I shrug. Just then, as our cover of Unholy starts to play; I see Lizzy and Annabel at the entrance. I look over at Jake and see him smirking as the girls fight their way through the club. I didn’t know if he was smirking on Lizzy or Annabel and honestly it didn’t matter. I could bee my muscles tighten. I couldn’t help but to feel jealous. Get it together Biersack. Anna isn’t your girlfriend anymore. You’re happy with Juliet. Or was I?
