When Scarlett is pulled from the ocean one night, she figures that almost drowning was enough excitement. As she sees it, her hauntingly mysterious rescuer can just become a memory. But Scarlett rarely gets what she wishes for. Days later she finds her rescuer battered, bruised, and imprisoned--because of her. As more secrets surface and father's true intentions surface, Scarlett is forced to make a choice: ignore a nightmare, or abandon everything she's known.
