Nikole Hamilton, a socially awkward yet beautifully imaginative teenager, living a life that seems to be totally opposite of what she wants. Nikole wishes to just blend in, to not stand out in a crowd and be noticed. She wants a quiet life in her boring New Jersey town of South Riverside. In the story, we dive in deep to her world and become part of it. Nikole starts off at the beginning of summer, September will be her junior year and her most exciting year so far...what happens to Nikole with her friends, family, and enemies?
