My Little Bird

Five.

Brace yourselves, ladies!

It seems that Harry Styles has yet another girl to play with. The One Direction superstar is reportedly "hooking up" with the new girl he was spotted leaving the Golden Dragon with yesterday afternoon (click here for the photos). It has not been confirmed how the two know each other or even who this girl is, but details of the pair are still pouring in and we'll be posting updates as soon as we get more information.

Could this mystery girl be Hazza's new girlfriend or is she just another hookup? Hit the comments below and let us know what you think!

Harry clicked on the link for the pictures out of curiosity and when the page loaded on the screen, he just stared at them for a few moments. The first one just happened to be at the time that Asher had extended her hand, looking over at him as she offered to carry one of the two bags he was holding, which made it look as if the two were holding hands as they walked. The second was taken only a few seconds later with both of them simply walking, completely expressionless behind their sunglasses.

He rolled his eyes at the tabloid article and closed the window, moving on to his twitter feed and finding it just as ridiculous.

@Harry_Styles please tell me the article isn't true!!!!

I really hope @Harry_Styles isn't actually dating that girl. She's way too ugly for him

That bitch better back up off my man @Harry_Styles

@Harry_Styles has a new girlfriend and I already hate her :(

Who is this girl that @Harry_Styles is dating now???? Someone fill me in!

At least the first two hundred were all involving Asher in some way, either mocking her or just being jealous of her, with some calling her terrible names mixed in. He groaned annoyed and closed his laptop, setting it onto the coffee table in front of him and rubbing his hands over his bloodshot eyes.

"Everything alright?" Louis asked, appearing from the hallway.

"Pictures were posted sometime last night. The internet's going crazy." He slouched down on the sofa, putting his feet up and lacing his fingers to rest his hands on top of his messy curls.

"Is it bad, what they're saying?" Louis sighed and flopped down onto the sofa next to his friend. "What am I talking about? Of course it's bad. It's always bad."

"I shouldn't have gone with her. El's gonna be pissed at me for this."

"She knows you were just tryin' to be nice. And at least Asher won't see what's being said."

"Yeah," he mumbled unconvinced, and he stood up from the sofa, stretching his long arms. "I'm goin' back to bed." He'd only been awake for an hour and despite the fact that it was almost lunch time, he didn't feel like being awake at the moment.

"I should get goin' anyway. Later, mate." Louis waited until Harry had disappeared down the hallway to his bedroom before he pulled his phone from the pocket of his pants and sent a quick text to his girlfriend as he got up to go back to his flat.

Eleanor's phone buzzed on the sofa cushion by Asher's thigh and she quickly grabbed it when she saw that it was from Louis. She glanced up at Asher after reading the text, but the younger girl was completely absorbed in the movie that Niall had insisted she watch. Eleanor resituated herself on the sofa so that there was space between her and Asher and so she was facing her completely. She went to the search bar on her phone and typed in Harry's name, instantly finding the pictures and articles about her cousin.

Asher briefly looked away from the television and over to her cousin, who seemed to be really angry at something on her phone screen. "You alright, El?"

The glare on the girl's face immediately disappeared and she smiled warmly at her cousin. "Yeah," she answered, sliding her phone into her pocket. "I'm just gonna go upstairs and get ready."

"I'm gonna try to finish this movie for Niall's sake and then I'll do the same."

"Okay," she laughed. "Good luck."

Once Eleanor had gone upstairs, Asher stretched out her body, resting her head against the arm of the sofa and pulling her blanket up to her shoulders. The movie was dragging along but Niall had insisted that the ending was fantastic and worth the two hour wait so she attempted to stick it out.

Only a few minutes after she was left alone, her phone beeped loudly from its spot on the floor. Asher leaned forward to grab it and she quickly swiped her finger across the screen to open the text message she'd received.

It was really great to meet you yesterday. Hope you don't mind I got your number from Niall

She furrowed her eyebrows, unsure as to whether the message was from Liam or Harry. Surely it wouldn't be Harry; he barely spoke for most of the day and when he did, it was almost always directed at someone else besides her. He was nice enough, but he just seemed a bit quiet. Before she could respond, she received another text message.

It's Harry by the way

Now that she knew it was him, she was only more confused. Why would he have texted her in the first place when he didn't speak to her in person? And why would he say 'great to meet you'? She typed out her reply and hit send, turning her attention back to the television where the movie was still dragging on.

Asher finally gave up and turned off the tv, getting up from her comfortable position and going upstairs to her bedroom. She shed the oversize tee shirt she'd worn to bed the night before and went into her bathroom to take a shower. Once she'd pulled on one of her most comfortable dresses and dried her long hair, she checked her phone again for missed messages.

Sorry I wasn't more sociable but I promise to do better next time :)

She shook her head and smiled to herself as she typed out her reply and hit send. You better.

Cross my heart was his immediate response. She set her phone down and went to the closet to find some sandals and a sweater to wear as her phone beeped obnoxiously against her down comforter. When she was completely dressed, she pulled her bag on over her body and picked up her phone on her way out of the room. She opened the text as she walked down the hallway to Eleanor's room and knocked twice, hearing her cousin's voice beckoning her in. She opened the door and took a step inside the room, keeping her head down as she read the text.

"What is it?" Eleanor asked as she observed her cousin in the mirror while applying her mascara.

Asher looked up and bit her bottom lip, a guilty look on her face. "Niall kind of just invited me to go to lunch with him and Liam."

"Go!"

"Are you sure? I know today was supposed to be just me and you."

"Absolutely. I think it's really great you're making friends already," she assured her with a smile.

Asher snorted. "Only because of you."

"Trust me, they don't like you because of me."

"Whatever you say, cuz. I guess I'm going then."

"And take your time. I'm going to go grab a bite and spend some time with Louis. Want to meet somewhere for dinner?"

After making dinner plans with her cousin and receiving directions to the restaurant where Niall had told her to meet them, Asher left the flat and began walking the three block distance.

Both boys were sitting at a table in the far back corner when she arrived. They greeted her with warm smiles and rose from their seats as she approached the table and took her seat across from them. Niall spent most of the meal cracking jokes while Liam just shook his head at him. She knew when she met the boys that she was going to get along with them really well and she had already turned out to be right. Niall was loud and insane and hilarious, while Liam was more quiet but a complete sweetheart.

Her phone vibrated against her thigh when the boys were being served their desserts and when she saw that it was her house calling, she excused herself to answer it. After an entire week in a foreign country, her mother was finally calling to see how the trip was going. Asher didn't really volunteer more information than was necessary, only saying that Eleanor was making her feel right at home and that she was making some new friends. The rest of the phone call was spent talking about her younger sisters, who were all doing wonderful things like cheerleading camp and rec league soccer.

The door opened and a young-looking woman entered the bathroom, smiling politely at Asher as she walked over to the sink to wash her hands. "Okay, Mom, I gotta go. I'm at lunch with some friends right now."

"Alright honey. Well, keep us updated! Have fun with your friends."

"I will."

The phone call ended and she sighed heavily, running her hands down her face. She could feel the woman eying her from across the bathroom and she slipped her phone into her pocket, walking toward the exit silently. "I love your dress!" the woman finally said as she dried her hands with a thick stack of brown paper towels.

Asher stopped and looked down at herself before giving the woman a polite smile. "Thank you."

"Where did you get it?"

"Oh, it was just this little shop back home in Florida."

"You're American? That's awesome!"

Asher nodded, thinking to herself that it was quite obvious she was an American just by her accent and the woman had heard her talking before she'd even said anything to her. "It's alright I guess," she chuckled.

"I'm Ellie," the woman said, sticking out her hand.

"Asher," she replied, shaking it with a smile even though she felt like the whole situation was pretty odd. Shaking hands with someone in a public restroom was definitely weird, but at least she's just seen the woman wash her hands.

"So nice to meet you, Asher. How old are you?"

Asher furrowed her eyebrows at the blonde woman in front of her, confused as to why she would even want to know. "Um, I'm nineteen....."

"Goodness, you're so young! Well, I should really be going." The woman, Ellie, quickly exited the bathroom, leaving Asher to wonder what the fuck had just happened. She followed out the door and went back to her own table where the boys were just finishing their cheesecake.

"Where'd ya go?" Niall asked her. "I was going to share with ya, but ya took so long and it was just sittin' there."

Asher laughed as she slid back into her seat. "Sorry. My mom called for the first time since I left. Of course she had to update me on my sisters' lives. Oh, and then there was this weird encounter in the bathroom."

The boys exchanged worried looks before looking back at her. "What do ya mean?" Niall questioned her.

"Some lady was just acting weird. She was asking me questions."

"Questions?" Liam repeated. "What kind of questions?"

"Where I got my dress, how old I am, if I was an American-- which, hello that's obvious, isn't it? And she introduced herself."

"What the fuck," Niall muttered to himself while Liam just stared at her with raised eyebrows, sort of speechless.

"Anyway," she said, shrugging off the whole thing. "Sorry about that. Ready to go?"

The three of them got up to leave and Liam insisted on paying for her lunch, much to her objection. They left the restaurant and started walking back to Niall's flat, and Asher noticed that both boys seemed to be in a rather big hurry. She pushed her sunglasses down over her eyes as she quickened her pace to keep her spot between them as they walked down the almost empty sidewalk.
