Alana’s POV
It was half past 8 p.m. when I had already got home from work, after I threw my bag over the table I looked around to see if Stephanie was already back from work but she wasn’t anywhere around.
I was going to grab my cell phone from my purse when I found a note on the table “Shift ended early, went to sleep” I sighed and walked towards her room, to check if she was alright. I slowly opened the door and saw her sleeping peacefully. I walked towards her bed and sat beside her. “It’s amazing how you can sleep this much” I sighed “I guess that sleeping is the only thing that makes you feel peace after all that hell you’ve been through” I said looking at her face that looked so peaceful and touching lightly her face, by the moment I was getting up, the bell rang and I quietly left her room.
“Hey Alana!” The guys said when I opened the front door.
“Hey!! Come on in!” I said letting them in, and all of us went straight to the living room and sat in front of the TV.
“What’s up? What are you guys doing here?” I asked as I was sitting down.
“Well, we’ve come to hug!” Jimmy said randomly making everyone to stare at him, I found it funny because Stephanie used to say that when we were younger.
“Alana, we need your help” Zacky said ignoring what Jimmy had just said
“Uh huh”
“today, when we were having breakfast, we were talking and well, we’re sick of the hotel we’re staying in and we don’t wanna spend our week off ‘living’ there” he continued.
“So?”
“We were wondering if you could help us find a place on lease for the week” Matt said
“We, as in you had the bright idea and your friends joined?” I said laughing.
“Damn, you’re good” he said grinning. I just stayed there for like 5 minutes, thinking until something hit me
“I honestly doubt there’s something on lease for one or two weeks, so why don’t you guys stay here? There is only 1 spare room, but we’ll figure something out” I suggested
“Really?!Would you do that for us?!” Johnny said
“Sure! No problem! Well I have to ask Stephanie, but I’m sure as hell she’ll agree” I said pretty excited and then I heard tons of ‘yeah’s’
“And… where is she?” Syn asked
“Sleeping”
“What?!” Everybody yelled
“She got home early, she she went back to sleep”
“But it’s late!!” Zacky said in shock
“How the hell can someone sleep that much?!”Jimmy asked “Can we wake her up?” He said pretty excited with and evil grin on his face
“No fucking way! She gets really moody when someone wakes her up!” I said and got a disappointed face from everyone
We spent half an hour talking and joking when we heard something coming from the hallway and I turned around to see Steph walking down the stairs in her pj’s which was a black bra and a pair of dark red pj boxers.
“STEFI!!” Syn yelled and ran to hug her and spun her around before checking her out
“Ha-ha, sexy” Matt said smiling innocently, I smacked him in the head
“I’ll be right back” she said blushing and run back to her room, within about 3 minutes she was back wearing a grey shirt a some shorts.
“STEFI!!It’s you again!” Syn yelled and spun her around again, then in a blink both of them were already sitting on the loveseat laughing.
“OH MY GOD! You are so fucking lazy!!” Zacky said “you still have a sleepy face!” She just smiled at him
“Hey honey!”
“Yeah?” She asked
“The guys are looking for a place to stay for the next two weeks and-” I started
“Really?” She said pretty excited
“Yeah!”Syn said
“Yeah and I told them-”
“Why don’t you guys stay here?” She cut me off and smiled
“Yeah, that’s exactly what I told them”
“What did you say?”
“Well, isn’t it obvious?! Of course we’ll stay here with you!” Syn said with the biggest smile ever hugging Stephanie
“Really?! Oh my god! That’s awesome!” She replied with a huge smile in her face and hugged him back. That got me by surprise, that was the first time I’ve seen her smile, not a fake smile, a true smile, she’s actually happy.
After a few hours, the guys had already picked their stuff up and decided where they would be sleeping at, Matt and Jimmy had to share the spare room, because they were bigger than the rest and needed more space, Syn, Johnny and Zacky would share the fold out sofa.
“Hey, why the hell do you have 3 bedrooms, if it’s only the two of you living here?” Zacky asked
“Because, we thought we could need them if our friends or if Stephanie’s sisters came to visit” I told him.
“Oh! You have sisters?” Johnny asked her
“Yeah, a little sister” she said. I turned shocked to face her; she looked at me and then looked away. ‘Why she told them she had only one sister?’I thought and stared at her confused
“Oh! And how old is she?” Jimmy asked with an evil grin
“You perv” she said giving him a dirty look “she is turning 17 in a couple of months”
“Oh!” He said blushing
“Pervert” she said joking
“And when can we meet her?” Syn asked
“She lives in Garden City” she said as her face turned sad “I told you that before”
“Oh” he said noticing the change on Stephanie’s face.
We kept talking for a really long time, and I noticed that Syn and Stephanie were in a different world, talking of who knows what.
It was already midnight when we decided we should go to bed.
Brian’s POV
I was in the fold out bed sofa, pretty tired but Johnny and Zacky were snoring, which made it impossible for me to sleep.
I checked my phone display, quarter past 2. I sighed and stared at the roof, I was thinking about Steph, she was an awesome girl, and gorgeous. I remembered how she looked today, she didnt have to have her face covered up in make up or wear fancy clothes to look beautiful. I sighed
“Man, she’s perfect” I whispered and with that thought and her image in my head I fell asleep.
