I was growing restless just waiting. I had watched her for months, waiting for the moment when she could be mine again. I had waited for far too long as it is. She had become far too comfortable with that rock star of hers. But I knew that eventually, my time would come.
They would grow apart; he would be in the studio, or go on a tour, and leave her by herself. That was when I would strike.
“We found them sir,” one of the men spoke. “They’re at Johnny’s Saloon. Just showed up. The rest of his little band of misfits, and their girlfriends, are there as well.”
I smirked as I rose out of my chair, pocketing the knife I had laid on the coffee table before me.
My time had finally come.

I apologize for the shortness of this chapter, but I didn't want to just leave an author's note without giving you guys at least a little something.Due to the lack of response to this story, and my unknowledge of where I want to go with this story, I'm going to be putting it on a hiatus...hopefully it won't be for very long. I've lost much of the inspiration I had for this story, so there will only be a few chapters remaining. I'm going to do my best to get the rest of the story planned and written quickly.
In the mean time, I came up with a new story idea that I'm going to try out. I just came up with the idea today, and it will be another Brian story. I'm obviously still working out many of the details, so it will be about a week before I get the story rolling. But it will be called (for now) The North Wind, so feel free to subscribe if you're interested.
I'm also in desperate need for a banner, because I'm terrible with photoshop, so if you are interested in helping make me one, please comment so, or send me a message. I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you to everyone who has been faithful to this story over this past year. I promise to do my best to get it finished up, because I don't want to leave it completely unfinished.
