Be With Someone...

Janine Lux doesn't seem broken. In fact, she seems rather... healed, especially considering her brother has only been dead for less than two years. On the outside, everyone sees Janine as a survivor, a strong woman compared to her cousin, Rory. But on the inside, Janine is dying a little bit herself. She's just a good actress.

Kris Letang has known Janine for just over a year. Or really, he knows who Janine is, thanks to Sidney and Rory's love life. But he can't help but notice something... odd about her. She steps on eggshells all the while trying to be strong for herself and her family. It's not natural.

As a relationship forms, secrets are made, and promises are broken. But sometimes, finding that someone is worth the risk.
