“were screwed” he said I grabbed his phone
‘its nothing Patrick it was a mistake someone made- Shaw’
I sent that and handed Andy the phone
“just cool it alright” he shook his head
“well Ben and Melissa are still doing things so we are going back to the Arena” I shook my head we grabbed our clothes while we were there and changed back we got back to the truck
“why not sell it” he looked at me
“how so” I smiled
“lets go to Cherry valley” he looked at me
“Mary” I shrugged
“come on” he sighed and got in the truck
“we are digging our own graves you know that” I shook my head
“I know” he shook his head and drove we got to the mall the minute we got out people and fans looked at us we walked into Boarders and I started to look around and Andy held up a Blackhawks related thing and we just laughed
“its everywhere” he pulled me close and I heard Cameras go off we walked around the mall and he found a Shaw jersey and made me put it on
“I already have one dork” he smiled at me
“I know” I took it off and he went to do some clothes shopping when we got to sears I could tell fans where itching to ask him question but keep their mouths shut I heard ‘god gave me you’ I looked at him he looked at me I grabbed his hand and kissed him he was shocked at first but kissed me back
“what was that for baby” he said he was playing along like I thought he would
“I don’t know I felt like it and anyways our song is playing” he smiled
“one of them at least” he said and pulled me too him and I smiled like actually smiled for once Andrew smiled brightly at that fact then kissed my cheek and we walked into the store he looked at me
“damn that felt to real” my heart broke a little im not going to lie we walked around and he looked at me
“what’s up babygirl” I looked at him
“nothing” he grabbed my hand
“you sure” I shook my head
“alright” he kissed my cheek he walked forward a little bit so I backed up and went into another part of the store I was just checking out some bedding when I felt an arm around me
“Mary you scared me” I looked at him
“sorry” I said and looked at Shaw
“why did you do that” I shrugged
“I don’t know” I said as I tried to walk away he grabbed me and pulled me close
“Mary talk to me” I shook my head
“its nothing I’m fine” I said and walked out he followed I ran into my Uncle and Cousin
“hey Mary” I hugged them both
“hey guys” they waved when Andrew came up to me
“Hey Shaw nice game yesterday” he smiled
“thanks Matt” he gave Shannon a hug
“I saw you yesterday Mary” I laughed
“good to know” they smiled
“when do you go back to Chicago” I looked at my Uncle
“uh this week actually” he smiled
“I cant wait to see you back and working for the Hawks” I smiled
“yea me either I miss them” he smiled and they walked away
“when were you going to fill me and Ben in on the fact that you where going back to Chicago” I looked at him
“I didn’t think I had to” he looked at me
“it would have been nice” I looked at him
“I’ll tell you next time then” I said and walked out he followed
“Mary Lorraine dont walk away from me” I kept walking and dropped the bags in the truck bed
“what Andrew you going to talk to me like a god forsaken parent now” I said he froze and looked at me
“I would never do that to you” I looked at him
“that’s what it seems like” I said he came over to me
“Mary I’m sorry alright” he looked at me and I looked at him he leaned in and kissed me he pinned me between him and the car but I didn’t care when we pulled away he looked at me
“we totally just did that in public” I laughed and shook my head
“that we did” he smiled and pulled me close
“and I loved every minute of it” I smiled big and kissed him
“why is it that something so right and so real started happening now” I looked at him
“cause I’m not stupid anymore” he kissed me again
“I want to ask you out but I keep thinking its too soon” I looked at him and I was about to tell him to ask me but his phone went off he held up a finger and pressed the talk button I looked at him as his smile got wider and wider
“of course Sir” I heard him say
“alright I’ll get home right away and be on my way” I looked at him
“goodbye sir” he hung up his phone and grabbed me
“Andy what the hell is wrong with you” I said he spun me around
“I was called back down” he said as he put me back down I looked at him
“are you for real” he shook his head I grabbed him and hugged him then I kissed him
“that’s fantastic” I said he shook his head
