every day.

Skyler's house was egged. Nobody knows who did it, but nobody seemed to be bothered by it either. Not even Skyler. They say he's sitting inside the house, doing nothing. He can't leave because chaos would ensue.

I'm standing before it, the same spot I stood in last time, after the shooting. I stare at his house, but I don't have any intention of going inside. I'm too scared.

In the right window, where Skyler's room is located, I see a tiny flicker from the curtain. There's yolk stains on all over the house, but I can still see. I think the flicker is Skyler, but I can't tell. I don't know if I want him to see me. If he does, I hope he doesn't come out because people are watching and they might kill him.

The curtain flickers again, but Skyler's face appears in the window. He looks down at me, an unreadable expression on his face. I look up at him and I don't do anything. I just stare at him–I stare at the boy that managed to steal my heart.

He waves at me.

I'm shocked by this. I look away immediately and when I glance back at him, he's still staring at me. I walk away before I do something that I'll regret.
