Last but Not Least

Good love.

"Are you excited?" Pat asked as they made their way out of the airport.

Reagan laughed, "To be in Arizona again? Sure."

"No, to spend more time with me!"

Reagan laughed once more, "Yes. So excited."

Garrett chuckled, "Oh she is excited to be here. Don't let her fool you." He spoke grabbing a hold of her hand with his free one as John started putting all their luggage in a van.

Reagan looked up at Garrett and he gave her a wink before kissing her cheek. He honestly was excited himself. Getting to spend a week with his girlfriend in a normal settings excited him. Which just proved how pathetic he really was, but he didn't care.

"So are you staying at the Nickelsen house?" Kennedy asked once they were all in and ready to go.

"No. I'm making her sleep outside. Good thing Arizona is warm at night." Garrett joked and she elbowed the boy.

"Right well, when Ross comes after you..." Kennedy trailed off and Reagan laughed, "Ha. He won't. He's mad at me."

"Why?" Kennedy asked along with Garrett who looked at the girl seriously.

"He's mad because I was leaving..."

Garrett narrowed his eyebrows as the group talked around them. His eyes never left hers and she bit her lip as he spoke, "Wish you would have told me that."

"What? Why?"

"I would have talked to him. God knows I don't need him mad at me as well."

"He isn't mad at you."

"Rea, I asked you to come out here."

"It's fine."

He sighed and relaxed in his seat. His mind racing. He really didn't want to be on the guy's bad side. Reagan meant to much to him.

"I'll call him later." He spoke randomly and Reagan groaned, "Garrett..."

He ignored her and the two were silent on the drive to his home. Once there the guys all said goodbye and Garrett grabbed his and Reagan's bags. He thanked her as she opened the door for him and he stepped in to be bombarded by his mother.

"Hi honey." She said pulling him into a hug and he groaned dropping the bags because he knew if he didn't hug her back she wouldn't let go. He kissed her cheek as she told him his hair was getting longer again and Reagan chuckled before his mom focused on her.

"I'm so glad you will be here for a while!" The woman said hugging Reagan immediately. Reagan smiled, "Me too."

"Oh hey Gar, brought your girl home again? This shit is getting serious." Trey said through a mouth full of chips as he walked in from the kitchen.

"Language!"

"Uh, mom, I'm not 12."

"Speaking of 12 where is my girl?" Garrett asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh yeah, nice to see you too, bro. Hello, Reagan." He spoke with a wink and she couldn't help but laugh as Garrett rolled his eyes.

"I'm about to go pick her up from her mother's actually." Trey added and Garrett nodded, "Right well go do that while we unpack."

"Garrett just leave your bag here. I'm certain it all needs washed." His mother stated and Reagan laughed, "Probably. He isn't the cleanest kid I know."

"Hey!" Garrett defended as Trey said he would be back and slipped out the door.

"Well, fine. Come on, Reagan, I'll show you where you can put your things." He spoke grabbing up her bag and hand.

"Good plan." Mrs. Nickelsen said grabbing up his bag with a face causing Reagan to laugh up the stairs.

"My family is jerks." He mumbled opening his bedroom door for her which of course was cleaned thanks to his obsessive mother.

"I love them."

Garrett dropped her bag and watched as she fell onto his bed.

"Awe, so we get to have slumber parties together again?" She asked and he grinned, "Something like it."

"Your mother isn't going to care if we share a bed for you know more than one night?"

He shrugged, "Nah. You know, I've never really had a girl in it so at this point she's probably allowing it just because she's happy I'm not gay."

Reagan giggled immediately and he sat beside her with a smile, "Not funny."

"It is."

He leaned in and kissed her cheek, "I'm glad your here. Even if your brother probably wants to kill me now."

She laughed as she relaxed on his pillow. He looked down at her and a smile hit her lips, "What?"

"Nothing." He whispered brushing her hair back gently.

"Excited to see Lilly?"

Garrett smiled, "I am."

"I can tell."

He chuckled and leaned down to kiss her forehead, "She's my favorite kid."

"Kid? What happened to she's my favorite girl?"

A grin hit his lips, "Right. Well, you're my favorite girl now." He spoke brushing his fingers over her jaw.

A blush hit her cheeks and he smiled, "Is that ok?"

She nodded and he crashed his lips to hers. Their kissing was of course interrupted by the slamming of a door and a small, loud voice screaming out for Garrett. The boy chuckled as he pulled away and helped her from the bed. Reagan couldn't help but find him adorable with how he acted around the child.

"Garwit!" The little girl shouted once they reached the living room. She ran to him and he grabbed her up, spinning her around making her laugh.

"How's my Lilly Bear doing?" He asked hugging the small child to him. Reagan smiled as she sat beside Trey on the couch.

"Great!"

"Great? Wow. And did you like the birthday gift uncle Garrett got you?" He asked and the blue eyed child nodded excitedly.

"Yes. Yes she does." Trey grumbled.

"Oh yeah. Uncle Garrett 2, dad 0."

Trey rolled his eyes and Reagan laughed, "What did he get her?"

"The coolest baby doll ever."

"She wont sleep without it now." Trey stated and Reagan laughed, "Who knew he could shop for a three year old girl?"

"Me." Trey joked and Garrett shot him a look before listening back to Lilly who was talking about who knows what. Reagan watched Garrett nod at the girl and add comments she was certain just fed the fire of her conversation continuing.

"Lil, gram is making cookies, you want to come help?" Mr. Nickelsen asked from the kitchen and Lilly nodded immediately. Garrett kissed her forehead before placing her on her feet and watching her run off.

"Let me go supervise." Trey stated moving from his seat.

"You mean eat. Great. Way to be a role model."

Trey shoved the boy on his way by and Garrett laughed before sitting beside Reagan.

"Hi."

"Hi." She chuckled. He placed his arm behind her on the couch and she instinctively moved into his side.

He pressed his lips to her head softly before taking in the noise from the kitchen. He was certain he could live in this moment forever. His family and Reagan beside him. He didn't see the problem in it.

"I'm tired." She whispered into his shirt and he moved his arm around her holding her to him.

"Me too. Take a nap with me."

"Ok."

He grinned and pulled her from the couch and led her back to his familiar room. The pair said nothing as they took of their shoes before climbing onto the bed.

Once settled he wrapped his arm around her and cuddled her to him.

"Finally home, get to sleep in a real bed, and I get to have you here for a while. Must this ever come to an end?" He asked at a whisper and she buried her face against his chest. She didn't want to ever be anywhere else either if she was being honest.

He sighed and played with her hair. She felt herself falling asleep and he on the other hand coulnt get his mind to stop. Once she did so he covered her up and climbed from the bed. He made his way back downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Did you leave Reagan?" Deana asked and hhe shook his head, "No. She's asleep. Long flight."

"I can't believe you brought her back." Trey stated and Garrett spoke, "What? Why? She's my girlfriend now."

"Garrett has a girlfriend!" Lilly said loudly causing his mom to chuckle, "Yes shocks us as well, honey."

Garrett rolled his eyes and his dad laughed, "We're happy for you son."

He nodded and leaned against the counter.

"Yeah, I like her. Maybe you shouldn't screw this up." Trey stated.

"I don't plan to." He grumbled in response as he crossed his arms.

"Awe Gar is in love!" Trey teased just to get under his skin.

"There is nothing wrong with that." His mom defended and Garrett groaned, "Mom, I'm not in love."

"Oh? So you wanted her to come here for nothing?"

"For sex, mom. For sex." Trey said honestly and Garrett's mouth fell open before he spoke, "That is not true! I am not like you. We haven't slept together."

Trey laughed, "Bullshit."

"Trey!" Mrs. Nickelsen scolded and he rolled his eyes.

"We haven't. You can ask her."

"At least one of my sons is respectful."

"Hey!" Trey growled and his dad laughed and patted him on the shoulder.

"I can't believe you haven't slept with her. Are you gay?" Trey asked once his parents left the room.

"No! I just really like her! Plus, forgive me if I didn't want to sleep with her in a bus full of people!"

Trey chuckled, "Never stopped me."

"Yeah and another reason why you have a kid and I don't."

Trey rolled his eyes and Garrett left the kitchen as he yawned. Maybe he would just go back and join Reagan afterall.

Lilly called him over and he crashed on the couch beside her.

"Watch scooby doo with me."

Garrett chuckled, "Ok."

Garrett's eyes grew heavy as he watched the cartoon and before he knew it he fell asleep. When he woke up it was too silence and he opened his eyes to see Lilly asleep against him. A sleepy grin hit his lips and he kissed the girl's forehead before swiftly picking her up. He carried her to the bed Trey was passed out in before crawling into bed with Reagan.

"Garrett?" She whispered and he pressed his lips to her cheek, "Sorry, I fell asleep with Lil."

"I know. I may or may not tweeted a picture of it."

He groaned, "What?"

She chuckled softly and held up her phone. He squinted to look at the tweet she had sent and a grin hit his lips even if he was asleep in the picture.

"My Garrett?" He asked amused by what she wrote.

She nodded as he sat the phone down and wrapped his arms around her.

"So I'm yours?" He asked softly his nose touching hers.

"Yeah." She said honestly and he chuckled, "Good. Your mine incase there was any confusion."

She smiled and he pecked her lips, "Let's get back to sleep. I wanna take you around town tomorrow."

She giggled, "Ok."

He kissed her once more before the room grew quiet. He hadn't been this happy in a long time. Maybe his mom was right on some level. Maybe he did love her.
