CHAPTER 24
“So why did u even tell him we were together?”
He leaned in close to me and put his hand under my chin.
“Because we belong together…”
We started kissing. I pulled away.
“Wait, I’m with Peter.”
What just happened? Did me and Brendon just kiss? It felt so right but yet soo wrong. I laid back down and pretended nothing just happened. Brianna and Ryan came towards us.
“Hey” She said.
“Hi”
“are you coming in?”
“No thanks, I don’t feel like swimming”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah”
“What about you?” Ryan asked Brendon.
“No thanks”
“Come on the water’s warm”
“I’m not really in the mood”
“Ahh you two! We’ll stay here with you and just lay down in the sun”
I heard my cell phone ringing.
“Ello?”
“Hey”
“Who’s this?”
“Frank”
“Oh hi”
“What cha doing?”
“I’m at the beach”
“Cool, want me to meet you there”
“Umm if you want, Peter’s not here”
“Ok well see you later”
“Bye”
As soon as I hung up. My phone started ringing.
“Hello”
“Hey”
“Peter?”
“Yes it’s me, I know I’ve been crabby lately so can we just forget about all I’ve said”
“Yeah, I guess”
“I’ll come down to the beach”
EE Frankie’s coming too!
“Umm yeah if you want”
“Ok bye”
“Bye”
I hope they don’t meet each other in the hotel because yeah Peter will definitely think something. Great, now I have to pick from Peter, Frank, That Jeff guy, and now Brendon. What am I supposed to do?? I pick Peter of course but the rest is still so hard to stay away from.
“Who was that?”
“Well Peter and Frank are both coming”
“Oh…”
“I’m gonna go to the food shack to get a drink”
“Ok”
When it was my turn to get my drink Jeff was taking my order.
“Hi”
“Hey, you work here?”
“Yeah temporarily”
“Can I have one of those blue slushy thingies?”
“One blue slushy thingy coming up!”
He handed me my slushy.
“Thanks”
“Hey I’m going on break” He said to the other worker
“Ok”
Jeff walked outside of the shack and walked with me.
“So how old are you?” he asked.
“24”
“Cool I’m 25, so what brings you here”
“It’s just beautiful outside so I decided to go to the beach”
“Yeah it is. Wasn’t that Pete Wentz with you at Starbucks? And Brendon Urie lying down next to you?”
“Yeah, Peter’s my boyfriend and Brendon is just my friend”
“So you’re not available”
“Nope, but there are other girls out there for you”
“I don’t want other girls, I want you”
“I wish it could be that easy but I was with Peter first. And you’re really cute so it shouldn’t be hard to find yourself a girl”
He looked sad.
“So what’s your name?”
“Sopheap. Like in So-fee-up”

“So I guess I’ll talk to you later than”

I met up with Brianna and Ryan.
“So… who was that cutie?”

“Well I met him at starbucks and he gave me his number earlier”
“So what are you gonna do?”
“Nothing, should I do something?”
“No nothing’s good”
“Ok well can I tell you something”

“I dunno we just kissed”
“Well make sure Pete doesn’t find out”

We turned around and it was Peter. Uh oh.
“Oh hi Pete” Brianna said.

“Can you answer my question?”
“Umm I’ll leave you two alone” Brianna left us, ugh.
“I didn’t want you to find about how much I love you”
He’s so not gonna believe that.
“Really?”

“I’m not gonna start a fight right now so, how are you?”

“Did you swim yet?”
“No, I’ll only swim with you beside me”
He smiled at me.
“Well let’s go in then”

We walked to the shore. It wasn’t warm but not cold either. It was just right. He held my hand tightly. The feeling of being with him was just great. No fighting, arguing, it was just wonderful…
