Safer To Hate Her (Max Helyer)

*Max's POV*
"But you don't love me"
Her words stung. I did love her.
"See you don't love me. Just leave me. Just go." She said quietly.
"No, look I-" she cut me off.
"If you actually love me stay, if not go. I've wasted 5 years of being in love with you and i need to move on."
I was speechless. 5 years. what??
I did what she told to do. I left. She shut the door, more like slammed it.
I felt bad, like i really did love her, just not as much as she loved me. She loved me for 5 years. I loved her since we first kissed that night.
I went downstairs in the basement to see Chris and Josh.
"What did she say?" Chris said with a mouthfull of popcorn
"She said she loved me for 5 years and if i loved her to stay and if not to go."
"What did you do?" Josh said moving to the couch. 
"Well what does it look like i chose?"
"Max, all you did was think about her all summer! How can you not be with her?"
"I-i don't know."
"Go up to my sister then! She really cares for you."
"...okay. I'll go."
"Give it a go with her. If you don't like it, then end it."
I nodded and went back to her door. I knocked on it.
"Whoever you are piss off."
"Can we talk? Please?"
"Oh, no especially you. Like i said before, go away."
I chuckled,"actually you said piss off. But whatever floats your boat."
"Really Max?
"Really Dakota? Let me talk to you."
"Why? So you can say you love me, but then you don't."
I brushed my hand through my hair and took a deep breath. "No, just let me in so i can talk to you."
She opened the door, it seems like cried every tear in the world. "Five minutes."
"I only need ten seconds."
She turned around about to say something but i caught her. I grabbed her by the hands And pushed her close, and place my lips against hers. She didn't deny me, she kissed back. I wrapped my hands around her waist and her hands went around my neck. It was cute, since she was shorter then me.
"Max." She said, trying to catch her breath.
"Sh...I'll have you in time don't worry."
