Rosie felt as if she was never going to go to sleep. She felt as if she was falling into a never ending black abyss, but as she turned onto her side, she could see the curtains shift slightly where light from the streets peeked before it dimmed once more.

She could also see Sam’s sleeping body that rose and fell ever so slowly. With a soft sigh, she quietly slipped out of the bed and pulled on a hoodie and her doggie slippers. She pulled her hair into a bun before she gently slipped out the room.

It seemed as if Rosie was in luck, and she couldn’t help but smile widely as she realized that there were no guards in sight. She wondered where they were, but she didn’t stand to ponder before she was skipping down the hall towards the staircase. It would be a much better idea to take the stairs since the guards may be waiting by the elevator. Then again, they may be waiting by the stairs.

With a triumphant smile and a soft, “Yes!” she started down the stairs and outside through the back door. It was their last day in town before they were back on the bus and down the road. With a quick yawn, she stretched before she started next door to the 24-hour grocery store.

Once she had grabbed many sugary sweets, she paid and started down the street towards the hotel again. She softly hummed as she made her way upstairs before she realized her key was in the room. With a soft pout, she stared at her door before she heard a door open behind her. She jumped and turned quickly; her food falling to the floor.

“Oh my god!” she hissed as her hand went up to cover her heart. “I thought you were some crazy fan,” she hissed at the curly haired boy that had called her a slut earlier. With a soft frown at the floor, she started to pick them up and stuff them back into their bags. As she reached for the very last few pieces of candy, another hand snatched them up and held it out to her. With a reproachful look, she licked her lips before she slipped it out of his hand and into the bag. “Thanks,” she muttered, though she wasn’t too thankful.

She turned away from him and was realized with the same problem as before. She did not want to wake Sam because she knew how she was when she woke up, but she didn’t want to be sitting outside either.

“Problem, eh, babe?” his deep, slow voice asked behind her, and she sighed as she turned and leaned against the door as she shrugged.

“I guess,” she muttered as she swung her bag full of goodies. “Not like you care,” she shrugged. This was probably their most civil conversation, but it was just too late for her to be making up sarcastic remarks along with rude comments. It seemed to be the same for Harry because he scratched the back of his neck with a rather unreadable look on his face.

A sigh fell from his lips before he took a slow step back and opened the door a bit wider. “I have an extra bed,” he told her. “I got the room to myself,” he muttered.

At the offer, she quickly shook her head. She would not stay for the night with him. She could only imagine the things he would do.

With his hands up, he said, “I won’t do anything. Promise.” With a glance back at her door, she decided that the wrath of a tired Sammy would be worst than spending the night with Harry. She would just have to keep one night open tonight. As she started inside with a careful look on her face, she bit down on her lip harshly already wondering what she had just done. “What are you doing out so late anyway?” he muttered as he closed the door and went to take a seat on the bed near the door. She went to set her own bag down and sat down onto the bed.

Harry couldn’t sleep, and his TV was on as some random movie played. With a look of disapproval, he stood and stretched before he started towards the door. He thought he would grab something from the vending machine or such but as he opened the door, he found Rosie outside standing at the door across from his.

She seemed to hear as she jumped up and dropped the bag of goodies she had across the floor. “Oh my god!” she whispered harshly at him, and he found it funny that she had jumped so high. With a soft bite of the lip, he ran his fingers through his curls before he caught the last of her words, “… some crazy fan,” she muttered out.

He went to bend down and help her with the few treats. His exhausted mind was off the fact that her band practically had them on stage naked. As he held the candy out to her, she slipped them out his hand and into the bag before she stood and went to face the door once more. “Problem, eh, babe?” he asked as he leaned against his door frame.

She turned to reply with, “I guess.” She shrugged. “Not like you care,” she muttered. He could tell that she was lock out, and at any other time, he would find them amusing, but he was taking pity on the girl.

“I have an extra bed,” he stepped back and opened the door a bit more. “I got the room to myself.” He watched as a look came over her face, and she shook her head violently. “I won’t do anything,” he told her with his hands up. “Promise.”

She seemed to think of this before she took timid steps inside his room. His television was still playing some black and white movie, and he closed the door before he went to take a seat on the bed. “Uh, I was watching TV,” he told her. “Not really, I just couldn’t sleep,” he said before he snatched a chocolate bar from her bag, smirking slightly.

A gasp fell from her lips, and she pouted before she hugged the bag to herself. “Mine,” she said like a child, and he laughed as he tore open the chocolate bar, slipping one into his mouth. She snatched the remote from the counter before she went through the movies there were to buy. A grin slipped on her lips, and she pressed a movie. Before he knew it, they were watching Love Actually.

His eyes glanced over her, and she seemed involved into the movie as she nibbled on her sweets. Her hair was up in a bun, and she was in sweats. She wasn’t trying to be pretty, but she clearly was, and he couldn’t help but wonder why he was only realizing now.
