Long Live Princess Elizabeth
Dear Diary,
It’s been fourteen hours since I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. When I first
held her and looked at her sweet face, I saw her father. This unfortunately was
my only setback, however red her hair may be, she will not turn out like
Henry. Instead I’ll name this beautiful child Elizabeth, my Elizabeth, and
England’s new Princess. We still wait here in Ireland to recover from the birth,
However in one week’s time we shall board a ship home.
*Long Live Princess Elizabeth! And may God grant us a safe passage home.
