Breaking Free

People are always changing,
Rarely for the better.
They change because they hurt,
And they won't stop, ever.

Sometimes it's the little things,
The colour of their hair.
Other times it's bigger,
And harder to repair.

The biggest problem with it is,
To most it doesn't matter.
If people don't become aware,
Personalities will shatter.

Change is rarely natural,
Often it's manmade.
We all influence each other,
'Til who we are does fade.

We need to stop this happening,
Let people be who they are.
It only takes a little step,
To travel very far.
