"Hey guys, how were the girls?" Cam and Zach came to the studio later than me.
"Dude, Brooklyn is "the one". I just know it."
"Isn't that illegal right now, Zach?" I had to ask it.
"Yeah, I mean, it's a huge risk. If you two got caught....man." Cam played along.
"Shut up! I really like her." Zach went to call her, but she was shopping with the girls. Again.
"And Beth?"
"Oh man, she is amazing. I really like her."
"That's awesome."
"Guys, what will the fans think?" Leave it to Zach to bring that up.
"If they really love us, they'll accept it."
"Do you really believe that Cam?" Now Zach had me wondering.
"Yes."
"So do I, Mikey."
"Fine. We still have 10 months to figure it out."
"Dude, lighten up. It's a Sunday, be happy."
"Mel, met my parents last night. She thought it was amazing, but now she's gonna see them more often."
"What's wrong with that?"
"They will either be super embarrasing or ignore her. If they do that, she'll take it offensive."
"She's stronger than you think man."
"How would you know that, Zach?"
"Brooklyn kinda spilled Mel's story. She put up with all that and is still here. She can take your parents at their worst." I guess he was right.
"Fine. Let's practice."
Melissas POV:
"Mellie, we need to talk." Oh no, here it was. I'm not sure what was going on, but it wasn't good. I could just tell.
"What's going on here? Are you guys alright?" Mom just turned 40 and dad was 43.
"Actually, we are better than alright."
"Mom, dad, what is going on?"
"I'm pregnant." Is she joking? I am going to have a half sibling?
"This is amazing. I'm so happy for you!"
"Mellie, we're gonna need a lot of help."
"I'm here for ya. Mikey too."
"Thank you Mel. This means a lot to Nancy and me."
"Sure dad. You and mom raised me well. I have to call Beth, Brooklyn, and Mikey. This is amazing!" The girls screamed and Mikey didn't really care.
"That's cool for her, I guess. You cool with it?"
"Yes, Mikey, I am."
"Tell Nancy I said congrats and I'm there if she needs help."
Thanks Mikey, that means a lot to her. Me too."
"Why you?"
"I have my reasons." It means he is an amazing person that I have no problem with loving. But he doesnt need an ego boost.
